In the beginning there was a 19th century neoclassical mansion, that even the eye of the most common observer could transform it to a unique architectural masterpiece. This mansion has now become the Perantzada…1811 Hotel. Our decorators have revived it turning it into a great small boutique hotel. All great names of contemporary design, like Varner Panton, Tom Dixon, Ingo Mauer and Philip Stark are hosted here. Feel the Ionian breeze, rest on the Belle Époque armchairs or walk on the 19th century Persian carpets. Upon your departure you will be carrying in your luggage the light blue from the hotel’s terrace and the memories of the warmest island hospitality.

Our second stay at this wonderful hotel - and once again it was truly wonderful from the minute we arrived, and really didn’t want to leave. The staff are outstanding and the service provided over and above. Will be returning as soon as a window of opportunity arises. Cannot put into words just how wonderful this little hotel and its staff really are ❤️❤️❤️

Great boutique hotel with lovely decor and we had a great sea view. We only stayed one night as we were guests at North Point Rooms on Kefalonia but would highly recommend both hotel and Ithaca for a visit. The town of Vathi is lovely, with great boutique shops. Lovely boat trip from Sami which was only a few euros each. We would definitely return and recommend.

Wonderful hotel in the picturesque Vathi. Spiridoula, Antonis and Orestis were exceptional. There are no words for the architecture, the views and the pool. Everything was very clean, the breakfast was decent. The only thing that needs improvement is the Wifi connection.

We stayed 3 nights in this gem of a hotel in the very heart of Vathy. One street back from the sea means really quiet but still phenomenal views. The room was small but made up for size by being beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. the bathroom was spacious and the balcony really big. Great to sit on the balcony of an evening and watched the yachts come and and leave. Breakfast was perfect and the public and dining areas just lovely. Lots of interesting art to admire. The pool was divine and spending time cooling down in whilst watching the world was a highlight. The real magic was in the staff however. They made the place tick along beautifully and nothing was ever too much trouble. Thanks to all at Perantzada for making our stay so enjoyable.

We stayed at the Perantzada Hotel for the last two weeks in September, having travelled there via Kefalonia from the UK. The Hotel is very comfortable (we had a junior suite with a great balcony and lots of space) and has fantastic views of Vathy and the surrounding bay. We were looked after by Antonis and Spyridoula who were fantastic hosts and made sure that our stay was as comfortable as possible. This included looking after us during a rare Mediterranean hurricane which passed through the Ionian islands during the middle weekend of our stay. They made us feel very welcome and safe, during these strange Covid times. Breakfast was always freshly made and served by our hosts. It is about a 2 minute walk to Vathy where there is a good choice of restaurants and bars. We would recommend Porto and Batis, both serving traditional Greek dishes and good fish/seafood. Car and boat hire were arranged by Antonis at the hotel (very good rates!) and are also available locally. Both means of transport are a great way to see the island. We would thoroughly recommend this hotel and the island of Ithaca. Stunning scenery and a great place to unwind as it is refreshingly free from large scale tourist resorts. We would certainly return and use this hotel again.

Have visited many of the Greek Islands but were told that we must visit Ithika, as it’s our 30th wedding anniversary we wanted somewhere special and we were not disappointed. Antonio and his staff are so welcoming and the hotel is in a perfect location, rooms are unique and the views are amazing .... for something special this is the place to come... hire a boat for a few days to explore the island ... drop anchor in the beautiful bays and let Ithaka take you on a journey ... we WILL be back ❤️🇬🇷❤️☀️🚤🥂

This is truly an amazing hotel and the welcome and service extended by Antony and his staff is just the best. I stayed at this hotel in July of 2020 along with my wife and 14 yo son. We had an amazing room , it was large and very comfortable. The location of the hotel is great for access to restaurants and the town of Vathy. It has a great infinity pool overlooking the bay plus the breakfast is very good. Nice and quiet it is perfect for families. Thank you again Antony, we had a wonderful time. Mike Ryan
