This B&B was such a lovely retreat after busy days visiting family. Mary and Dave, were wonderful hosts, who where there when we needed them, but we always had our privacy. The breakfasts were delicious, with Dave famous pancakes, and their own homemade maple syrup, farm fresh eggs, and great coffee. All in all, a wonderful place to stay in...

I do not usually take the time to write reviews - good or bad - but I felt the need to do so for Mary's and Dave's hidden gem in Plantsville -Southington. For years I had driven by but was unaware of how nice this place is. I stayed there with my two tween/teen daughters for two nights while my...

My Wife and I stayed with David & Mary for 2 nights while touring the area. Check-in was very easy. David showed us the home, our room, bathroom and how everything worked. There was a refrigerator stocked with beverages and a Keurig Coffee Maker for on-demand coffee. The room was very large with a large private dressing room and bathroom....

What a lovely place! An old historic house yet so well kept. Clean, warm, cozy, it just invites you in to relax and enjoy the beautiful views of fall foliage all around. The room was big, spacious and very clean. The bed and sheets were definitely not what you usually find - so soft and comfortable, we had the best...

Excellent Bed & Breakfast! My husband and I enjoyed a lovely overnight stay. Very comfortable, impeccably clean and cozy room. Our hosts were delightful, the pancake breakfast was delicious! Very cool to stay in a 1730 farmhouse! Highly recommended, we would stay there again, no question.

We come to Connecticut twice a year for family visits. We always stay with Mary & Dave. The b&b is charming, the breakfasts outstanding and our hosts delightful. Dave even makes the maple syrup you have for breakfast from trees on the property. The restaurants nearby have really stepped up their game too which makes the stay even better. Very...

Can't say enough about how comfortable our 3-night stay was. Mary and David are warm, knowledgeable hosts - and great cooks! The historic homestead has been lovingly maintained, with the right combination of original flavor and modern amenities. Can't wait to return!

From the very beginning, Mary and David made our trip such a pleasure! Making the reservation was easy-peasy and when it finally came to our actual stay, it just got better from there. The place was easy to find, in a great location (right near the ramps for I-84 going in either direction) and was comfy-cozy. The house site was...

Very comfortable facility in historic B&B. Innkeepers are very friendly and interested in assuring your enjoyment during stay. We really appreciate their adjusting their breakfast recipes to meet food alergies.

We stayed at this home while attending a college graduation in a nearby town. The home is over 275 years old and has quite a history. The room was nicely appointed and one of only two available. The host and hostess could not have been nicer or more accommodating and the breakfasts were wonderful and made to order. A great...
