Very friendly welcome, lovely sitting room where Joyce served tea and apple tart and ice cream which was delicious. The room was nice and clean and tidy, and I was well looked after. Very quiet location, so peaceful, a real home from home.

My husband and I spent three nights at the Trean House and absolutely loved it! The room was spacious and homey. The grounds were beautiful. The pets, Spike and Finn, were wonderful hosts! The owners were kind and warm. We would return without hesitation!

Hi. Does each room have a private bathroom? What is the best time of year to visit? How far from airport and large cities? I am Irish, my mother's maiden name was Moriarty. My last name is Murphy. I know that we have some distant Irish relatives in Ireland, but do not know how to look them up.

The names Murphy and Moriarity are widespread over Ireland. Checking an Irish Genealogy website might be of use to you, although you would need to know roughly which area your forbears came from.
There are many establishments that offer good B&B facilities in Ireland. Trip Advisor is a good guide to go by.
I hope you enjoy your trip!
