A decision to change our holiday itinerary almost at the last minute led us to The Bee and Thistle. This inn is beautiful both inside and out, with gardens full of local sculpture work leading you down to the rivers edge. Inside the local art continues throughout. We were upgraded to beautiful room 10, with its gorgeous bed and furniture....

One of the most charming inns I've ever seen. Each common room unfolds into the next. Wonderful garden has multiple sitting areas, a swing and a view of the Lieutenant River. Staff was helpful. Room spotless. Breakfast delicious. Only thing missing is a way to make a cup of tea or hot beverage in the evening after the staff departs....

You may find yourself wanting to skip the sites and just stay in your room.  Clean, cozy, arty, lovely.  A friendly bird sits in the front living room and the backyard is outstanding.  Breakfast was delicious too. Directly next door to the town museums and very close drive to beach and lakes.

Wonderfuly experience from beginning to end. Everyone was helpful. Their restaurant was not open on the evening we were there but they helped us find another one. The room was beautifully appointed. They even send you with a bag of goodies when you leave. We were with another couple and they also enjoyed this delightful bed and breakfast.

After not visiting the Bee and Thistle for a while, we went for dinner with friends a few weeks ago. Dinner was outstanding. All four of us agreed that the "Bee" is just getting better and better. I had Salmon and the others chose the Wasabi Tuna, all cooked to individual order. Each order was cooked to perfection and was...

We booked the B&T for my daughter's wedding weekend, and it could not have been more perfect. The property is situated at the top of a gently sloping lawn leading to the Lieutenant River, and her father and I walking the bride down made for a touching start to the ceremony. The guests faced the river as the sun settled...

I love the name of the Inn and the surrounding grounds of the Inn with many chairs scattered all over the place. It was certainly relaxing. My complaints, however, is the registration. I love the B&B under the Select Registry and I have not been wrong with the B&B I chose previously. I called in to the Inn saying I...
