By far the most beautiful place I have seen for a wedding. Customer service was top notch and they catered to every need of the newlyweds and all their guests. I would book this place any time I could. We felt as though we were considered family by the owners. We travel a lot and stay in a variety of...

Highly over rated as a wedding venue. Somewhat buggy outside. Prickly chestnuts all over the poorly kept grounds. Supposedly non-smoking grounds. Not so! Very crowded. Meals were served very, very slow resulting in cold entrees. Not good portions. Cocktails rather pricey. Very disappointed!

We come to the shoreline every month or so and have been trying out the various hotels. The Bee and Thistle is a really happy discovery. We were upgraded to a spacious room as we arrived. I think, though, judging by what we saw, that all the rooms would be beautiful and comfortable. The inn is perfectly maintained and everything...

We came here for a rehearsal dinner. The place was very charming & I would love to go back again. We started in the garden for drinks and passed appetizers then we went inside for dinner. It was served family style and the food was great. As a guest we were very happy. I also know the bride and groom...

What a perfect venue for a small Bridal Shower. Beautiful setting with charm. Service was professional and attentive. The dining area was so inviting and the food was outstanding. It was an amazing day for a wonderful family member who is getting married. Everyone had a lovely afternoon!!!

The service is impeccable and friendly. The decor is Old World and comfortable and the gardens are outstanding. Each time I have been the menu is different which some may appreciate but I don't. They seem to still be figuring out who they are. That being said I highly recommend this place and will continue to frequent it.

This was a very nice place to stay for one night as a base to explore some of the local towns. My biggest complaint was that the woman behind the desk who checked us in was not very helpful or warm at all. I would expect more anywhere, but certainly at a small inn. I was also very disappointed in...

Try the 3 chocolate bread pudding. We has a three course dinner with a bottle of wine for $75/couple. I will look forward to returning. ( PS no...

I’m addressing the Bee & Thistle as a place to eat and drink. The atmosphere of the Inn is fabulous; cozy and friendly with a superb staff and lots of comfy places to sit for a while. The bartender, Jack, is a true professional, a surprising master of the craft for one so young. My wife and I always enjoy...
