We stayed here for two nights prior to our flight back to UK. It was bigger than expected and the receptionist said it is mainly commercial, hence why it was so quiet being a Sunday. However, it is in nice quiet road away from the centre but easily accessible for most things. We had a lovely room upstairs. At that...

Booked in for two nights by our tour guides, East Cape tours, and loved the place. Large clean rooms, family run, great breakfasts, lovely pool area. One block from the beach. Near the Boardwalk, several restaurants nearby

We were booked in here for one night by the travel agent, as a convenient overnight stay prior to our early flight from Port Elizabeth Airport, and had thought it was more than we needed under the circumstances. There may also have been other hotels closer to the airport, but this was only a 15 minute drive away and was...

I recently spent 2 nights at this lovely, clean guest house. The rooms were big, modern and so clean. The people who own and those who work there were friendly and couldn't do enough to make us feel comfortable. It is near the beach and lovely restaurants. I look forward to returning for a few days soon.

This is a fairly small guest house with very large attractive rooms which have good facilities. The only down side for me was that I found the bed uncomfortable,it gave me a bad back after a couple of nights sleeping in it.

The rooms was large and bright, the breakfast was okay. Did not meet the owners but their dogs were most friendly. Breakfast was fine, nothing too much. They did offer a lift for our luggage which was nice.

In Port Elizabeth with a group of parents supporting a school cricket tournament. From the time we first made contact we knew we had made the right choice. Check in on arrival was seamless and we had room 7 on the deck overlooking the pool. More a lodge than a B+B. Nice size room and was very quiet. Breakfasts were...

This is our first time staying at the Fifth Avenue Beach House and it won't be our last. We stay for extended periods in Port Elizabeth, and this guest house is perfect. Its location, a mere 100 m from the beach and close to restaurants and entertainment, is ideal. They have rooms of all sizes and configurations-- one is bound...
