Just spent a fantastic NYE stay at the Foley with dinner and breakfast - what can I say..this is a great hotel in all aspects. Rooms were of boutique standard with very comfortable beds and top of the range shower in ensuite. The food was excellent but what really stood out to us was the friendliness of the staff -...

The Foley is really a pub with rooms albeit a good pub with rooms. My wife and I had Christmas in the hotel and, with family nearby, it provided all we wanted. It's the fifth time we have stayed with them and they had never let us down. The rooms are more than adequate ( Nice extra touches. Complimentary half a...

Came with a few friends late on Sunday. I shared the prawn cocktail and the fishcakes with my partner which were both very bland. I had then had th3 "ultimate chef's roast" which was meant to be lamb, Turkey and Beef but probably due to the time of the day was missing the Beef. There was no replacement meat so...

Enjoyed our stay. Nice quiet comfortable room, friendly staff and great breakfast. Sting in the tail was checkout where the rate for the 2nd night was much higher than agreed by email. Apparently rates are increased if there is an event locally. I was asked if I could produce my email which I did and after an apology all was...

We enjoyed a single night stay as we were attending the emigration expo. Check in was very pleasant and efficient. The room was both spacious and clean, although the shower would not drain away so the second user stood in a few kilometres of water rom the previous user. Breakfast was generous and well presented. A vegetarian option was also...

Lovely sized room with very comfy bed and a mini bar, albeit quite expensive. We ate in the hotel's restaurant on the Saturday evening and taking in to account the large party already being catered for, the service during our meal was excellent. Food was delicious and plenty of choice. Rather expensive overall, but it is 'down South' !!

Very clean and good size bedroom. Nice minibar but expensive wine. However a gin and tonic from the mini bar was actually cheaper than at the bar downstairs! Comfortable bed, good pillows. Decent size towels and good selection of toiletries. Apparently there was a live band in the bar area but I certainly did not hear anything from my bedroom...
