We stayed overnight at the Mountain View Inn on our way between Boston and Burlington, Vermont during a New England road trip and it was a great choice. Innkeeper Dean was the perfect host, so friendly and helpful. We were greeted with welcome glass of hot spiced apple cider and cookies and were upgraded to a lovely suite of rooms....

We just spent one night here for a quick getaway for my fiancé's birthday weekend. While it was short, we got to experience the hospitality of Dean and the beauty of the Inn. Our room, Felix's Room, was huge and decorated perfectly, with a very comfortable 4 post bed and a vintage bathroom with a claw foot tub. The Inn...

Having just spent the weekend at the lovely Mountain View Inn, I have nothing but superlatives for Dean, Jean, and their spectacular establishment. I would highly recommend the Mountain View if you're staying in the Norfolk area. The rooms were unique and comfortable in the extreme, with such extras as a reading porch, a chaise lounge, a writing room, etc....

we had the most amazing visit at the Mountain View in this weekend. Dean, the innkeeper, provided wonderful accommodations as well as an entertaining and delicious breakfast for us this morning. Miss Noelle, the miniature poodle, was adorable and as cute as a button. We are looking forward to a return visit. The close proximity to the infinity music hall...

What a wonderful, beautiful Inn! We've been to other B and B's on the New England shoreline, but we wanted to visit the Berkshire region in NW Connecticut for a peaceful getaway. Our hosts were very friendly and knew all the history of this gorgeous Bed and Breakfast. Extremely quiet and comfy. The bed was covered with beautifully soft linens....

Being at the Inn was like visiting an old friend. Dean and Jean Marie were most welcoming & the perfect hosts. The Inn is magnificent and decorated with impeccable taste, including Dean's beautiful paintings which are the perfect touch. I stayed in Jenny's Room - delightful. The attention to detail was amazing. Last but not least, breakfast was delicious. As...

I attended a private luncheon ay the Mountain View Inn. I was also fortunate enough to be escorted through the circa 1870 Victorian style home aka B&B. It was delightful to meet the innkeepers. Even more so to talk with them about the history of the house. Dean (owner) is also the chef. He prepared a scrumptious, decadent brunch. His...

Mountain View Inn is a wonderful retreat. Beautifully furnished, quiet, comfortable. It provides a great location for exploring Norfolk and the surrounding towns in the green rolling hills of NW Connecticut. I enjoyed the hospitality and appreciated the travel tips.
