At $365 a week, even at the end of 2022 this is a horrible financial decision unless you’re staying very short term… Unfortunately my girlfriend and are quite literally in between housing and have had the unfortunate experience of having stay here for 2 months… One might wonder why stay so long if the experience is so god awful and well that’s a story for another time the short answer is our first week here our car stopped working and needs a new transmission!!… on with the review i probably have more insight than most as i’ve been a long standing customer of 2 months here at the Carrier Motor Lodge. I’d like to second and third the problems that others have mentioned such as the absolute disregard these “employees” have for a paying customer who might just be passing through.. I’ve had employees apologize multiple times as if i went into the office at a “bad time” and they were cranky and just zero hospitality or effort to make you feel comfortable at all, i feel like i’m buying wraps at a hood bodega every time i walk in to the office… Every room i’ve had the unfortunate experience of staying in at the very least every single one of them had cigarette burns on the comforters in non smoking rooms and there was no effort at all to mitigate the problem. So after you yank the dirty comforter you will have to bring your own broom and mop as the floors are so dinged up and nasty that unless you clean it yourself you won’t know what’s dirt and not and chances are there is gonna be a lot of dirt.. but if you can get over that maybe you can get over the dirty bathtubs that require shower shoes so you have peace of mind whenever you’re doing your business in the shower and don’t want the intrusive thoughts of whatever black specks of dirt, mold or other gross possibilities from the human body that these specks might be to get on your feet. But hey if you got NO WHERE else to stay and you clean the room up yourself before staying here it’s actually not that bad….That being said if i had the money or resources to leave and go anywhere but here i would . i hope this helps

the room was very dirty. stains on the wall, nasty and torn couch, cigaret burns on the hot tub, phone did not work. i told management about it and they couldn't care less. I planned on staying a week but refused to stay another day under those conditions. Please please please do not waste your time and money on this filth.

Let me just say that for $225 per week you can have a better stay at the Siesta Motel, down the road. At the Carrier they dont clean the rooms at all, the Siesta cleans every day. They claim to have wireless internet but its not even strong enough to do the basic things. If you want your room cleaned or need supplies, you have to walk all the way to the office to get them and the vacuum and lug it back to your room. The staff could care less if there is a problem and the two Spanish women treat you like dirt. If you complain, they treat you like a criminal. This is a place for the homeless and drug addicts. Do yourself a favor and choose the Siesta.

On a personal level they really suck. They can give two cares on what goes on at that motel. In fact I saw drug deals, hookers going on at this place. I told management and was told to mind my own business.
I highly sugest that you dont go anywhere near this place.

Been here going on 3 weeks no service on weekends. Can't get clean towels, toilet paper, sheets, Friday thru Sunday. Some rooms have no lights have to ask for them. Cant be friendly with neighbors outside they don't want you standing outside your room. Sorry for 245.00 a week its not worth your money. Very noisy all night long.

Sometimes when you are traveling, all you want is a comfortable room with clean sheets and you don't want to pay big bucks for a few hours.

So I don't stay in 2-star hotels much any more. As a silver member of the Hilton group, I prefer those properties. However, when you need a place to stay and don't want to spend $125+, you consider the 2-stars.

The Carrier Motor Lodge is a classic "Route 66 style" motor lodge. The way motels used to be back before my day.

I can only comment on our room and our experience.
- The staff was friendly and courteous.
- The room appeared clean and updated, however, the floor faux-hardwood floor seemed dirty. I think housekeeping used too much detergent in the water, which causes floors to feel tacky and attract dirt.
- Bathroom was clean
- King sized bed was comfortable, sheets were clean,
- TV worked fine.
- It was hot and AC worked like a champ
- Didn't see or hear anything about a pool
- There is a vending machine that had soda and water but there are supermarkets clse and PLENTY of dining choices.
- Room had a working refrigerator and microwave (we used both)
- Office doesn't open until 9. There were no instructions for checkout. We left at 7:00 and left the key on the dresser.
- We used another reservation site and got the room for $70. We chose not to upgrade to a Jacuzzi room, which would have been $150.

Note: I am traveling to North Carolina next week and need a room for about 8 hours. I was impressed enough with The Carrier Motor Lodge to consider 2-star lodging down there.

Room Tip: I think maybe the closest to the front looked the most updated?
