My employer is based in New Haven and I travel there on a fairly frequent basis. While I typically stay at Marriott properties, I decided to try the Omni this time because it's so convenient to restaurants and other downtown attractions.

Very nice location in downtown New Haven. Walking distance from Yale University and lots of restaurants and bars. Classic hotel with attentive personnel. Spacious and clean rooms. The room showed some wear. Good internet.
My wife and I enjoyed a comfortable room with minimal street noise, good lighting in
bedroom and bathroom. The 19th floor restaurant offered excellent views of the city
and area, good breakfast choices and excellent service by the staff.
