What a nice Inn. What we were looking for was quiet and unintrusive and that is what we received. Arrived my son and I to a room downstairs the Mermaid room which was easy for me no stairs. He had an upstairs rose room just so quaint. Loved that this had a sitting room and snacks to munch on. Beds...

This was our first visit to a BnB and it could not have been a better experience, the owner was very accommodating of our needs. The house is amazing and has so many beautiful touches that make for an incredible and relaxing stay. It was very hard to say goodbye to such beauty. Highly recommend. The location is perfect, park...

We (3 couples) stayed at the Mermaid Inn for 1 night. It was simply wonderful. Our rooms were spotlessly clean and we thoroughly enjoyed the whimsical touches in each room. The gazebo was a lovely venue to enjoy a little late afternoon sun and a glass of wine. We were served an excellent and bounteous breakfast by Noreen and Lisa....

homemade cookies, desserts, coffee and teas available all the time, the almond french toast and sausage was fantastic and homemade granola yummy and those extra touches...like...cognac, chocolates, cold drinks in the room... heaven. Easy walking distance to the seaport and downtown restaurants. And did I mention the goody bag upon leaving!

Stayed for 3 nights. Absolutely loved it. Josephine and Noreen made us feel so welcome, nothing was too much trouble. Homemade cookies and pie on the table for you to help yourselves, cognac and chocolates in your room, fantastic breakfast, homemade granola (absolutely delicious) yoghurt and fresh fruit, followed by whatever you have chosen from the menu on the board,...

We had such a good experience the last time that we opted to stay here again. The owner Josephine had everything ready upon our arrival. Homemade pies, cookies, and a Keurig coffee selection on the dining room table daily. At night Josephine made popcorn for our two boys while they settled in for the night. Fine chocolates and sipping cognac...

We stayed here in August for 4 days. We arrived around noon on a Thursday. Check-in is 3pm. We were permitted to park our car in the BnB's lot. There was a note on the door with a number to text or call since Josephine, the owner was out. We texted her that we were going to grab lunch and...

This little B&B is a hidden Jewel. The house itself is a beautiful building with a wrap around porch, well maintained gardens and interior. The inside reminded me of visiting grandmas house with the beautiful woodwork and antiques. The breakfast was superb, with a great selection available, the evening goodies(pie, cookies, sherry etc) was the icing on this wonderful B&B....

This was our first visit to the Mermaid Inn, but definitely, not our last. Everything from start to finish was amazing. The entire place was very clean. Our room, The Blue Room, was private, comfortable and clean. (The bed was a little sunk in, in the middle but other than that, very comfortable) My boyfriend and I like to sleep...

The location was walking distance to the Mystic Seaport which was a very cool place to spend 3-4 hours. Also very close to the town where you have lots of shopping and places to eat. The Mermaid Inn was a very nice place and Josephine was very nice as well. My wife and I spent the weekend and our room...
