My son and I decided to take a road trip we jumped in the car and we headed north towards Mystic during the ride we were Googling different places to stay and we found the Rodeway Inn.
We were only planning on staying overnight and we wind up staying for five nights the rooms are extremely clean the beds are very comfortable the rooms also come with TV microwaves and refrigerators. The best part about the Rodeway Inn is that they have a very nice outside large pool this was great because no other hotels have any outdoor pools also just minutes away from everything and a very short ride to the beaches. The owners of the hotel are extremely sweet and accommodating. We were lucky enough to find the Rodeway Inn.

The room was clean. The room was well appointed. It was short towels but that was because, per the desk clerk, they weren't folded yet but was prompt in getting them to us as well as the requested pool towels. Seemed to have a lot of residents there but everyone was polite. No breakfast buffet probably because of covid but the location of the hotel was perfect to what we needed. My husband and son said the pool was clean albeit small but when its 95•F it worked.

We were visiting Mystic with our two grand kids so I booked a room with two queen beds. Got a little jolt when we checked in and was told that I reserved 4 rooms. Tried to get ahold of Booking.com but the nice lady at the desk called her manager and he said he would take care of it. I was surprised that there was no follow up with us but when I checked, I was only billed for the one room. The room itself was very clean but also very small and the beds we ended up with did not look or feel like queen sized. A bit disappointing but we made it work. The number of towels, soap etc. for four individuals was also surprisingly small. There was also a surprising abundance of highway noise, considering that we were close but not that close to route 95. As the saying goes, “you get what you pay for”. I didn’t feel cheated but I will be more discerning next time.

I have traveled to Mystic numerous times but this time I decided to stay somewhere different so I came to the Rodeway Inn. The rooms and property were spotless and everyone was very accomadating. I have never seen the level friendliness of the staff in any of the other hotels I usually stay in. The staff continued to meet and exceed my expectations. The front desk agent recommended me some fine restaurants and showed me must-see places on the map. I wanted a late check out if possible which they gave me right away and kept the pool open later than the usual time since I requested. Speaking, the pool was absolutely beautiful! The water was cleaner than other pools that I have swam at the overall atmosphere was really great. When I was outside, I saw the staff always cleaning and keeping the property in impeccable shape. They were always open to helping you if you needed something or had questions. The hotel was very Covid friendly as they had hand sanitizer available to guests, masks were required, and a protective plastic screen was put up at the desk. I will definitely be coming back whenever I am in town and recommending to friends.

Needed a last minute pet friendly hotel in the Mystic area and my boyfriend booked this one online. We were given room 110 and I am appalled by the condition of the room with the price they are charging. With tax and a pet fee this room was $296.49 for one night! It was dark, damp and dirty all around. It smelled like cigarettes even though it clearly states it is a non smoking room. The ceiling either had dirt or mold on it, the fabric of the chairs and blankets were stained and the toilet ran all night non stop after the first flush. Obviously extra cleaning and sanitizing for Covid protocols is not happening as there was writing on paper left in the room by previous guests. When checking out the person behind the desk didn't ask how the stay was... probably because they knew the response would not have been positive. This place was terrible and I would never recommend someone stay here! Shame on the management for their prices with the conditions of these rooms!

Recently stayed in this hotel for 1 night. They should change the name to a Motel to not confuse people. First of all when you rent a hotel for $170 you expect that at least the room will be clean. I was afraid to touch anything there. Room was so dirty, carpet was never vacuumed, dirty hand towels, door in the bathroom was so dirty with marks of somebody vomiting and a hole in the bottom of the door (maybe from mouse) Also, somebody left food in the refrigerator ( do not know for how long) and it was never removed. Please change name to a motel !!!!
For info if you decided to stay there:
Bed so soft, please bring your own pillow and towels.

My husband and I booked a couple night stay in Mystic. This place was reasonably priced for the days we needed, and it was a 5 minute drive from pretty much everything. We could walk to Mystic Village and it was nice to have the diner few yards away. Pretty clean, quiet, and perfect for what we needed.
You won’t receive 5 star service and accommodations, but this place is comfortable and nice if you want to have something close to everything and right off the highway.

Due to a misregistered reservation at another motel, we were pressed for a last-minute reservation upon arrival in Mystic. They accomodated us. Friendly, flexible staff. Always willing to provide little extra amenities. They let used extend our checkout till noon & hang out by the pool a bit longer afterward. Great location with short distances to major Mystic attractions.

I stayed at the Old Mystic Motor Lodge one Friday night after visiting Foxwoods and not wanting to drive home. I found the place to be exceptionally clean, comfortable and reasonable. I decided to spend a second night there when I found out that there were so many things we could do in Mystic. I would rate this place a Best Buy.

Just got back from a one night stay at the Econo Lodge, Mystic. We were just looking for a clean, comfy room without spending a fortune. I booked on choicehotels.com and got the room for $108, the best rate for any lodging in Mystic that night.

The room was just that- clean and comfy. No frills, but totally fine. The only problem we ran into was that the front desk clerk was trying to tell us that we booked the AAA rate and that unless we had a AAA card, the rate would be $130. Luckily, I had my printed confirmation frow the website showing that I got the internet user rate of $108.

The location was great and it was quiet. The outside was in desperate need of repair though.

Bottom line, it's not bad for the money.
