Peaceful place away from the crowd but only a 10-minute walk to the hub of activity downtown. Marina next door was very quiet at night. Nearby light industrial businesses also quiet. Beautiful view out to the River and train bridge. Old fashioned room with great breeze. Welcomed our Labrador dog too. Enjoying a cocktail in the gazebo now. Reasonable rates....

While we did get a peek at the Inn rooms when we arrived, we knew in advance that we wanted something more spacious, which is why we booked the 3-room Cottage with deck & hot tub, overlooking the boatyard and outer harbor. We're glad we did. It was awesome. We're not into the cutesy B&B thing, which can cost really...

Claude is a lovely man with wonderful stories, but the Harbour Inne feels quite overpriced. Location is not within walking distance of downtown (he does offer free use of bicycles). Interior, linens, towels etc need an upgrade or replacing, but more important: the place needs a good cleaning. Very dusty and honestly quite dirty. I know Claude has to everything...

Had made arrangements with staff from views seen on the web-site pics. Thought this would be a nice get away by the sea, NOT! Upon arriving we were greeting by a pleasant staff member. After paying the remaining balance--which you can only do in cash or check--I was directed to our "cabin." It was nothing like the pictures. The room...

Stayed in the chief engineers room. Comfy bed, clean and quiet. Awesome location. Pleasant breeze at night from the gazebo. Close to town and seaport. Not commercial. Enjoyed Claude's company along with his friend Fred. Beautiful hot tub! River view. Enjoyed watching the boats and trains go by. Rustic and cozy. Sad to leave - hope to return in the...

The innkeeper, Claude, was waiting for us and greeted us as we got out of the car. He gave us a tour of the rooms, which were quaint and inviting. He is friendly and full of information about the town and life in general. Well worth the drive. We will return!

Claude the owner goes out of his way to make sure your stay is enjoyable. He supplied us with a map of the area and pointed out excellent venues for lunch and dinner. The breakfast and coffee that was served every morning were delicious. Sitting under the gazebo at night with an adult beverage talking with other guests made the...

Agree with other reviews that say this place needs a good overhaul. Our room was on the small side, but the bathroom was miniscule. The sink was like a boat sink - very tiny and didn't drain well. The shower was not especially clean with a wooden sill that needed improvement and rusting bolts. There was lint on the lamp...

This rustic inn exceeded our expectations for our mini-vacation to kayak the Mystic seaport. The only downside was our limited time. Upon arrival and ringing the doorbell, we were promptly greeted by Claude the innkeeper, who gave us a tour of the inn including, to our surprise, a six-person hot tub, beautiful gazebo next to the water, and an on...
