What a great find!! Booked this hotel as a nights rest en route to Porto. It is a modern hotel, very clean with lovely rooms. The bed was so comfortable with a great choice of pillows. The breakfast had so much choice with homemade yoghurts, fruit toppings, jams as well as cakes & tarts. The gentleman who served breakfast was so helpful and gave us a route to Porto through the mountains which was breathtaking and so glad we went that route. Also visited the nearby lake which again was stunning. If you’re in the area, staying here is a must.

I went to Macedo de Cavaleiros for 14 days and stayed in this lovely hotel A family hotel with very friendly family Wonderful breakfast I was like home My room was very nice Very welll situated downtown With a lovely restaurant near and niece shopping I really recommend this place Maria

Interesting stay!
When we pulled up to the Hotel ( not sure why it’s in the B&B listing) we were unsure about going in. A purple hotel called Muchacho? When we pulled up the manager or owner came out and advised us where to park as we were on two motorcycles. A nice secluded parking area with 24 hr video surveillance. Our room was on the 4th floor and included a nice big jacuzzi tub and seriously comfortable king sized bed. We also had a very private patio. It has to be the best room in the house. Breakfast the next morning was the usual buffet style but more than adequate. If passing that way again, we’d definitely stop. It’s just about the best value so far on our 3 month journey.

A memorable stay in Trás-os-Montes
I spent 5 days with my husband in this hotel. The staff is really warm and helpefull, the food was excellent and it's very central do know all the beauties of this region. We felt at home and the price was great! I really recomend it!

I top rated this hotel because of the price/performance ratio
Nice hotel in Macedo. It has been modernized, the furniture is new and modern, the room was small but with all the amenities, the dinning room was nice and the food excellent. The staff and the owner was really friendly.
