Attended a party Saturday night. The Staff have no manners... Never in my life have I even felt so unwelcomed in a restaurant... Will never be returning and would advise all to stay clear. Keep ur money and visit the zoo. I'm sure the animals will be more welcoming ......

My wife and family have eaten at the Old Hunters Lodge many times. We arrived and soon found a table on a Sunday afternoon. Front of house/bar gentleman was efficient and explained our options regarding the menu and specials board. The ordering process was straightforward and our particular requirements accommodated. The food arrived in good time and was faultless. As...

Visited Sunday lunchtime, busy of course. But still found a table and received good service, nice tasty food at a reasonable price, and good beer! A nice open fire and quaint cosy surroundings. Parking can be a little awkward.

Have just bought a property in kensworth and should be moving to this quaint little village hopefully by March. Popped to Kensworth today for a look around the area and a spot of lunch. Went to The Hunters Lodge for lunch had 1 drink then left. I have never seen two so miserable people behind 1 bar in my life....

Visited with my family on a very rainy day. Good service, friendly stuff and a good choice of well priced bar food. Cosy atmosphere by the fireplace. The place is just 20mins drive from Luton Airport and less than 5 from the zoo.

We visited the old hunters inn last night. Perhaps we should have been on the ball as we were the only people in the restaurant. Food was not good. I had Hunters chicken but not a hunters chicken as one knows it I didn't read the underneath it was chicken with onions my fault but very misleading. Me and my...

A very picturesque old pub with lots of character. The food was good, but we did have to wait quite a long time for our meals. It does have a pleasant garden to sit in too. The staff were friendly enough also.

Ordered from their specials menu on the board. Then had a long wait for food to come. Cod fillet very small, but the absolute disgrace was the peas! They were shrivelled and had obviously been cooked too long and had dried up, presumably in a microwave. They were as a result hard, tasteless and inedible. Service very mediocre at bar....
