What more can I say, just from speaking to Jane on the phone for intial enquires, was a breath of fresh air, she was so friendly and made you feel welcomed and accomadating. Especially for dogs. We left our booking to the last minute and they made every effort to fit us in. We were late arriving but Jane still...

Everything has been thought of there were two adults, two children and a dog in our apartment. It was done to a very high spec and really clean. Milk tea bags cling film even dog bowls bags and treats had been thought of. It feels like to are in the middle of nowhere but actual you are just a few...

We came here to meet up with friends as this was a good halfway point. The welcome on arrival was lovely and the apartments was cleaned to a very high standard. It was just myself and my 11 year old son who stayed in our apartment this time but we are already planning to return with my husband also for...

My family helped me celebrate my 70th birthday at the end of May. We hired 6 lodges and the pent house. Ages of the guests ranged from 70+ to 1 year! The lodges were lovely, clean, bright, comfortable, tea, coffee & milk provided. Lots of safe outside space for the childrean and 1 dog! The function room was something else,...

I have just come back from stables lodges for my hen doo. I really couldn't have asked for a more perfect location. The lodges are very modern and are really well equipped. Further to that, the function room had everything else that you needed to help you settle in for your time there. You are surrounded by a beautiful views...

If you need somewhere to stay near Derby with dogs this is perfect. Easy to find close to Main roads. The stables are clean and modern, warm and well equipped. The fields were great for the dogs. Down side for me the extremely uncomfortable bed. I spent two nights on the slightly more comfortable sofa. If you are a fan...

We hired the stables lodge for the whole weekend and it was wonderful. Excellent accommodation with the seven lodges and penthouse, attention to detail cannot be faulted. We had a reception meal in the function room for about 50 guests and then spent the evening outside in the beautiful surroundings. This venue helped to make the wedding celebrations perfect. I...

This was a return visit. 15 friends and 5 dogs in 6 apartments. We had the function room which is brilliant for a large group. Apartments are super clean and superbly equipped. Really couldn't ask for me. Highly recommended and we will be back.

Used the Penthouse accommodation in between house moves. Owner very helpful sorting out dog bowls and treats which was fab. The Penthouse has its own private garden which has decking and a good sized lawn all of which is secure for dogs. The living accommodation is very clean and has all mod cons with double bed and kids bed in...

we have just returned from our third family gathering at the stable lodge, booking all 7 stables and the penthouse. Facilities continue to be of a high standard with superb attention to detail - even down to the doggy packs! The management are amazing and very accommodating and we will continue to have our reunion here annually!

“All rooms are identical, room 1 being closest to the functiom room and penthouse. As party organiser it was convinient for me to be in room one so I could run and forwards easily and quickly. Whichever room you choose they are all lovely!”

“All lodges were identical but for something different or special there is a premier suite above the function room and although I didn't look at it I have it from good authority that it was excellent.”

“Stable 7 is at the end, so furthest away from the Penthouse (houses more people so could be noisier) and has immediate access to the dogs toilet break area. In August, we had sunshine from dawn til dusk on our outdoor eating area, the others had to catch up from our shadow - perfect for alfresco dining.”
