We spent two days at a tournament at Yale University and this was the closest Starwood facility to New Haven. It's not overwhelmingly convenient to Yale (25-30 minutes), but that worked well enough for us. The hotel didn't have anything to distinguish it, necessarily, but it was clean, had great desk staff, and worked perfectly for what we needed. Quick...

Apparently the hotel was remodeled in the past year or so. There are only about 2 dozen signs all over the hotel bragging about that. Not sure why. It must have been a remodel by the lowest bidder because the place looks terrible! At check-in, the young lady at the front desk was friendly but pretty clueless. I asked about...

I stayed at this hotel this past weekend and was very happy. The front desk was very friendly and nice. I called the front desk and asked them if they could recommend a place to eat and she printed out a page of places and had it waiting for me at the front desk. The food in the bar was...

I stayed at the "Four Points Sheraton" this last weekend and found the rooms to be clean and comfortable. As it darkened outside I noticed the parking lot; with a four or five million dollars worth of motorcycles, was for the most part pitch black. I called the desk and inquired about all those big lights in the hotel lot...

Furnishings are sparse and very dated; hotel hallways are dim. Room smelled musty. Definitely NOT Starwood worthy. Time for a renovation. Choose an alternative if you're in the area. I'll give it another try if they do a complete renovation.

We have just returned from a one week stay and want to share how well we and our pets were taken care of in every phase of our stay. The staff could not do enough for us... and always with a smile and consideration for our changing needs as family members arrived throughout the week. We felt like part of...

This is your basic older hotel nothing fancy. I did enjoy the friendly greetings from the front desk staff every time we came back 😊 So on the trip advisor site it says "breakfast included "and I booked this hotel. Found out at the front desk that this "non-refundable" booking did not have breakfast and that if I wanted breakfast...

We needed a one night stay near family members we were visiting. I used SPG points for a free stay. At check-in, we were upgraded to a better room that included a sofa and coffee table. The room also had a refrigerator and microwave. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful.

We stayed 2 nights during Memorial Day weekend. Saturday night, the hotel was full with youth groups. The pool was filled with kids without adult supervision. The second day was worse, the house keeping service did not exist! The elevator was dirty with cookie crumbs. They didn't make the room, empty trash nor change out the dirty towels. We left...
