Detailed Reviews
Close to nature and close to the beach but not on the beach. Room was spacious and comfortable enough. Nothing fancy. Bed was comfortable. TV had no signal to it. WiFi is limited to 7:30Am to 9Am ONLY. I understand this is mandatory for the area they are in. The food is excellent here and they will prepare some special request as they do want to please.

The place is very remote, but also very comfortable. Once you are here this is were you eat most of your meals and hang out. But it is lovely place to hang out! We spent 6 days here, mainly enjoying Craggy Island, the island just outside the nearby beach. Great snorkeling! They gave us 2 twin rooms which fitted our family situation perfectly. The rooms were clean and pretty and with AC, TV and hot water. WiFi (slow) was avaialble 2 hours every morning. The staff and owner are super helpful and the atmosphere is very friendlyl We were here during turtle nesting season but never managed to catch a climpse of them. But the beach is close to the hotel so you get many chances. The food was good but could benefit from some more variation, and some drinks would had been nice.

Thanks a lot sir,it was great to have you staying with us.Today the Wifi speed is better to respond,we hope as soon as the under sea cable connects Andaman with mainland by April 2020 we would have better speed. As per your suggestion we would definitely work on more variant in our organic menu. Thanks a lot again sir.

It is an abode in nature, rooms surrounded by lush greenery, a beach at stone's throw distance. I would review this place for the experience we had as part of our stay! The host, Alex, charming and wonderful at showing you a piece of his home, felt that way. The little things, a late check in, and a late night, they helped out with dinner upon call. A vehicle broken down along the way, Alex was willing to help us out with options the next day! Rooms perfect with all amenities as needed. The best seafood I had during the entire andaman travel was here, courtesy a conversation between my mom's friend and the chef/host! What's unique and memorable about this stay is the experience that was curated by Alex and his staff! Of conversations on his boat at the restaurant, star gazing nights at Kalipur and the many snippets and stories exchanged! I wish we had spent more time here, I'm sure to do upon return! If you are looking for a place that is truly pristine amid nature, find yourself here!

We had an incredible experience at Pristine Beach Resort! Alex, the owner, is exceptionally sweet and kind. He guided us to Saddle Peak, the highest peak in the Andamans, with enthusiasm. The resort offers spacious, eco-friendly rooms surrounded by lush greenery and an abundance of birds.
The highlight was the delicious home-cooked meals and dosas that added a homely touch to our stay. Pristine Beach Resort is a haven for nature lovers, and Diglipur's history and stunning landscapes make it a true paradise.
Notably, the resort's eco-friendly initiatives align with the breathtaking surroundings. Diglipur's annual turtle visits, including Olive Ridley, Leatherback, Hawksbill, and Green Turtles, make this a unique destination.
Highly recommended for a serene getaway! 🌿🌊🐢 #PristineBeachResort #AndamanParadise #NatureEscape

We stayed at this resort for just 1 night travelling from Port Blair to Diglipur to visit Ross & Smith islands. We reached late into the night and left early morning, so hardly spent any time within the room. However, the checkin/checkout experience was seamless, the overall ambience of the resort with small cottages was fantastic and we had a good dinner at such a remote location.
Positives:
* The resort property with small cottages tucked within greenery is beautiful and relaxing.
* The wooden cottages are decent with a large bed but not very roomy if you have large sized bags.
* The lounge chairs outside each cottage would be perfect for some relaxation/reading.
* The walk arranged by Alex on the beach around midnight was very good, even though we didn't see any turtles.
Negatives:
* Spotty wifi. Barely received wifi in the room and had to sit on the lounge chairs in the company of mosquitoes to get wifi.
* The bed is quite hard, which led to an uncomfortable sleep.

+1
Diglipur was not on my itinerary, but was highly recommended. A friend said speak to Alex and he will sort everything out.
Alex is the whole and sole, keeping the
place running, and supervising an extremely efficient staff.
He managed our entire itinerary, on places to see, transport etc. He even took out time from his busy schedule to make it a point to sit with us for drinks on both days.
As a solo traveler, he put me in touch with another traveller, to help save on the travel costs.
Will start with the resort. Rooms are clean and well maintained. They seemed almost new. A comfortable bed, hardly spent anytime in the room, apart from sleeping.
The restaurant food was excellent. Staff quick and efficient.
The food was amazing. Recommend the Nicobari Fish, which stood out as different.
Diglipur as a place does take time to reach. Ross and Smith Island is the main highlight. There is also a trek to the highest point of Andaman. While I skipped that, landed up swimming across to Craggy Island, around a 800m swim. I am a diver, but was surprised to see such beautiful corals.
Diglipur overall is still untouched and Pristine resort is thr place to be when visiting there.

Resort in an excellent location, convenient for taking the ferry to Ross & Smith Island and the natural park with turtle nursery,
On the beach in front of the structure there is a small island reachable by swimming at high tide and colorful corals.
Clean and welcoming bungalows, an excellent restaurant where you can eat all day, they are currently building a swimming pool which will be ready in a few months, a gym and yoga room and a spa.
Absolutely recommended

Resort is in a nice wild garden, close to the Kalipur Beach.
I rented a bungalow without air condition for a reasonable price. Restaurant and service was good.
Unfortunately, I have not seen turtles. Owner told me that he will inform me when turtles come, but there was no further feedback. He was finally more interested to hang around with an older lady from Israel. I did not want to disturb them.

The owner is very friendly and accommodating. The resort is wonderful and green, the rooms are modern and very clean. The restaurant makes great Chana Masala. I really enjoyed my time. I hope to come back soon. Thanks Alex

I could tell you about the overpriced nature of the resort, the lack of any decent sandy beach (pristine it is not), or the razor sharp rocks if you attempt to swim out, but I think the main reason you should avoid this hell hole is the manager and staffs tenancy to start fights (verbal and physical) with guests. I cannot go into detail, but please take this as a very serious warning - staying in this resort is actually physically unsafe, for men and yes for women. They will seem nice and accommodating, but this can change very rapidly. And they might try to respond to this saying they did not start this incident, that would be a pure lie. Besides I have two incidents in my head. And others we spoke to had similar problems. They are simply completely unable to deal with anything approaching criticism without resorting to emotional/physical violence.
Otherwise, the beach off the resort is a thin strip of dirty grey sand, and if you attempt to walk out for a swin you will rapidly discover the rocks just past about half tide line, which are razor sharp. Dead coral rocks, very painful and difficult to try walking over. There are pretty much no safe ways into the water with bare feet, the rocks extend a long way out. Beyond that (congratulations to anyone who gets this far) the snorkelling is just ok, bit meh. But really, why are you staying in this resort anyway? There are better locations in the Andamans.
