Beautiful little Resort with super helpful reception staff Wayan Rasmuni, very friendly staff in general . We stayed one week with half-board so we could choose from different breakfasts and 20 different menus for dinner. Restaurant ist open all day. Rooms are nice and clean, Aircon is very silent . Marco, Gabi and their team are doing a great job. Great diving on house reef on high tide, don’t go on low tide as entry can be really difficult then. Dive Trips with car well organized , Guide Komang is a great spotter for all kind of small things. Nitrox Membran works well, stable 32/33 %.
Stayed 4 nights (wish it was longer) at the resort. It is set in a beautiful location with amazing sun rises (worth getting up for). The gardens are so well kept and immaculate with water features dotted around, you feel relaxed the moment you arrive. We didn't dive this time but have dived here before and found the dive centre to be excellent my 2 sons did their advance PADI and the tuition was very professional. Most Chalets have an ocean view we stayed in number 8 which was very comfortable. We had 2 massages each which we loved. The highlight is the restaurant overlooking the sea we saw Lombok as the skies where clear and whilst having breakfast saw a pod of dolphins swim by. The food is excellent and menu extensive you could eat there for 2 weeks and not get bored. What we really liked and what as a tourist is so important is the resort employs locals which provided excellent service. There is a real feel of being ECO friendly here: fresh drinking water in your room is provided in a glass jug (not plastic bottles), straws are metal, the gorgeous smelling organic bath products are in large dispensers on the wall in bathroom not small plastic bottles that where in every other hotel we stayed at in Bali. A little piece of Paradise and we look forward to our next visit.…
I must preface this with: I am not a diver - just a girl in love with a diving boy. The grounds are beautiful, and the rooms were a lot nicer than I'd expected. We booked a regular bungalow, which was pleasantly pointed to not have direct sun. Because it was hot! Most of these bungalows have a sea view, except ours (#5) which faced the dive shop. The restaurant had a good selection of food, lucky because the accomms are in the middle of nowhere and there's no real options to dine out. My BF raved about the excellent local dive guides. He brought his own equipment, so the price for 6 dives, including liberty, was around 3million for single tank fun dives. I used the spa for a massage and facial. Massage was lovely and reasonably priced at 400k. Facial was the same, but probably over priced. They offered other services such as a pedicure, but was more than what I'd pay at home. Aside from that, as a non-diver, there is nothing to do. There is no TV, no kettle, no hair dryer. WiFi is terrible. You can borrow a book from reception, but they're mainly in German / Danish. The pool was too hot to be of any relief. On the whole, the resort lacked atmosphere and the staff were distant. Note that they are all locals though, and the resort makes effort to ensure the locals are employed. We paid $87AUD a night which was a great price, but this is made up by everything being available for a hotel priced cost. Our check out bill was about 3.6million not including diving and spa services. We ate and drank too much, mainly based on nothing else to do. It would have been a lot better if there were coffee making facilities, better WiFi to the rooms, and a once a day shuttle to the main steet area. If we returned to Tulamben / Kubu, we would stay somewhere else - probably closer to the main steet with more included room facilities. The area is very remote. …
This place is stunning! Garden is so well manicured I was praising the gardeners everyday. The view breathtaking - pebble beach to the front, majestic Mount Agung to the back. The vibes super relax - major contrast from all the other places in Bali. We loved it, it was what we were looking for. The staff so helpful - nothing was ever too much for them. The spa's lovely - priced between budget and 5 stars; it seemed reasonable. I had a facial done - it was very nice. The food was good and reasonably priced. Breakfast you choose from a menu, but they're very accommodating to special requests. Could be nice to have the option to order from the room/villa (I get lazy when I'm on vacay). The restaurant can get very hot (even at night). There's no fan (we asked) - I get that it's open air; you're supposed to get the sea breeze but there was no breeze and it made it difficult to sit and enjoy the view. We booked a 2-bed villa with private pool - gorgeous and very spacious, but knowing what we know now, we would have just gone for the bungalow. There's no air-cond in the living room, which is fine - we've rented many villas in Bali with no AC in the living room - except that here, it was exceptionally hot (seriously), so we couldn't really enjoy the living room, which is a waste and defeats the purpose of staying in a villa. We did a bit of snorkeling and diving, but not at the resort as we find the price a bit high (compared to some other providers in the area).…
Kubu Indah is a little Pearl on the North east Coast of Bali. The secluded Resort is perfectly placed between bright blue ocean in front and the vulcano in the background. The bungalows Are lovely decorated, All with A/C, saftybox and minibar. The private villas Are amazing with private pool, Green garden and lots of space and privacy. The restaurant and bar makes delisous food and drinks, and the staff is friendly as ever. The massage/spa area is a perfect way to relax and by far one of the Best massage I've ever had in Asia. There is No beach here.. Only rocks out to the ocean, but its Nice to snorkel just outside the Resort with lots of fish. The pool and lounge area is sufficient for cooling down. This is paradis on earth.. A perfect getaway for couples, friends and families... Deffinately worth the trip to the North Coast. …
We stayed 3 nights at Indah and we loved every moment we were there, this hotel is ideal hotel for longer get way mainly if you dive, there are few things you need to be aware of, if you booking this hotel beside on my personal experience. If you coming with childern make sure your kids is highly mentioned on your booking confirmation I had inconvenience with hotel as reservation app didnt add my son for hotel package if thought it was mentioned????? and he was not included. 2nd please be aware that there is no hot water maker for hot refreshment specially if you tavelling with kids you will need it for milk.....etc. 3rd, be aware that the drive to reach is quite bit long way it took us from 1600hrs to 2100hrs with stop on the way from the airport, but it was for sure worth it, we knew it was far but I forgot Bali roads can take while before you reach. Overall we totally recommend beautiful place, very friendly staff, in general Indonesian people are amazingly freindly and extremely nice, and most importantly it is very safe, and not expensive and we love it here. We defiantly coming back. Thank you. Hani…
Beautiful boutique set-up in the middle of nowhere, not a bad thing because it's quiet and peaceful. Dive centre guys are great, not the cheapest but house guests will get 25% discount off dive packages (minimum 6 dives) so that's worth it. Wish they have a kettle (for hot water) and free flow of drinking water though but I understand that drinking water is expensive.
Whilst this hotel is absolutely beautiful with a beach side location, and the staff are all lovely and very attentive, I was very shocked at how expensive everything was compared to other hotels of similar value in Bali. For example, most hotels offer free filtered water but here it was 15,000 for a jug! Service and tax is also set at a reasonably steep 21%. Similarly, the Diving was a lot more expensive than other dive centres in the area so I would advise diving somewhere else to get value for your money. I did get the feeling that a lot of the hotel was geared towards money-grabbing rather than just helping you have the best stay possible
This hotel is absolutely amazing! Only thing they would be missing to make it 6 stars out of 5, would be a sandy beach. But everything else is like a dream! Palm trees, pool, beautiful view, great food, awesome staff, perfect bungalows etc etc! I’d definitely go back! Plus the diving team there is effective and great ppl. Also, if you’re Danish, the owners are Danish too, so it gives somewhat comfort in case of translation issues.
- Nice place with a focus German customers. - it has a nice pool area - dishes are good, you can have a tasty lunch or dinner. If you are not a big fan of extra hot dishes, ask for European style spicy and they Will understand!:) - neighbours are far enough, you cannot hear them like if they were really next door - nice spa area with nice staff - great to have PADI diving opportunity inside the Resort, with a professional and good instructor Stefan. My husband took the Advanced level course and exam, and he was really satisfied with Stefan - it is such a great spot both for diving (US Liberty wreck is approacheble) and snorkeling. The sea life is rich, you can see trigger fish, neon fish, blue sea stars...even a turtle if you are as lucky as we were! But. - you are at the pool sunbathing, than 2 men come to the pool in diving suites and start practicing (e.g. how to jump inti the water, etc), the 3rd man is taking video/ pics of them. Sorry but it was really uncomfortable, there should be a separate pool for this, actually a deeper one. I left the pool area. - at 6 they start packing the pool area (matraces, parasols), if you are still there and ask whether it means you should leave or just get to know when you should leave, the packer cannot really answer due to not speaking English really - the soft towel is only decoration and will be removed from your room during the next cleaning session. The normal towel is really rough, if you are sunburnt it is a torture to use the normal towel. If you ask the cleaning lady to bring back the softer towel she says it is for decor only, and from the next day you can see that the newly made rooms do nőt have decor towels anymore, the rough ones are used as decor too. Sorry guys! But I am sure it was not the right reaction. A good towel does not cost that much to be consirered as such a luxury thing. - really expensive transfer from Kubu to Amed. 400K for this short trip while our 2,5 hours drive from Ubud to Kubu was 500K... …
