We found our new favorite local breakfast spot!! We nestled up to the bar and enjoyed coffee, mimosas, and an out of this world Hash Florentine dish. My husband and I shared it because it is HUGE!!!!...but oh my, what a tasty treat. We can't wait to go back. I can't believe it took us this long to find this...

We have eaten here a few times after outlet shopping. The food is good. The prices can be a little high on some items. The atmosphere is nice. Not too noisey. Never stayed over - way too expensive for dated rooms.

Spent 3 nights at the Inn. Room was rather small and felt as though I was staying in someone's grandmother's attic. I realize the property is old however the entire place smelled musty and it didn't feel as though the bedding was fresh. The food in the restaurant was good. Portion's were large and selection was ample. The wait staff...

Truly disappointing. We looked forward to going for three weeks. We planned our Friday and Saturday to have Sunday open. We drove the 65 miles to get there. It was so busy the sat us in the bar...fine. Turns out it was a bit too noisy for us so when I saw a small table open up I asked the...

Went for breakfast Christmas week. We waited a few minutes for a table even though the place was packed with customers.. Wait staff were very busy but extremely pleasant. We were served coffee right away but it was like drinking hot water.. Definitely can use some improvement there..I ordered the chicken fajita omelette which was superb..I noticed other meals being...

Worst inn experience ever! Our room was upstairs from the bar that was filled with a rowdy Saturday night crowd and "live music" that was a lousy one-man band. They gave us NO warning when we booked this room that we would be just above all this noise. The paper-thin walls also made it impossible to ignore the 50 Shades...

I am only evaluating the restaurant on the premises. We did not stay here, but saw how cute it looked from the outside. There were mums all around. We stayed at the Wharf, and wanted to eat off the premises a few times. We were thrilled to eat breakfast here. When I couldn't find the restaurant I cross-referenced it to...

We have been to the Dolly Madison's restaurant (bar actually) several times before, it had been about 9 mos since we last visited. The food was always very good, and the local characters always made for some intereresting conversations. We were pleasantly suprised when we visited on a Sunday evening, that the bar was completely remodeled (same charm) the menu...

Yea......The Dolly Madison is open and under NEW management by the owners of Christie's in Westbrook. And, yes, that means those great pancakes and omletes - so far only on the weekends, but I'm sure popularity will change that. The burgers, chicken quesadillas's, clam chowder, nachos, and salads were all awesome and priced great. I have teenage boys and young...

We happened to be driving by and said "Why Not"?..Well the food and service was fantastic. The charm of an Old New England coastal inn.!.. We would definitely stop again when in the area. We live in central CT. and would take the trip with friends to enjoy it again.

Thank Paul P
