We had a super weekend in this most charming of Inns. Our room was large and very comfortable. The breakfast was great and nicely served. It might be nice to have the option of sitting at a table for two for breakfast rather than have to be grouped on a large table. This is a great location for strolling around Madison.

My husband and I enjoyed a pre-wedding weekend getaway at this charming hotel. The bed was large and comfortable, the shower large enough for two, and the room comfortable, nicely furnished and very clean. Michael was a great host, warm and informative. He was also very attentive to my food allergies in preparing me a special breakfast, which was beyond...

We stay here frequently and this is a favorite special place. Michael and Olive are friendly hosts and the breakfasts which Michael makes each day are a gourmet treat. The rooms are always clean, comfortable and lovely. Proximity to Madison makes it easy to walk into town and it's also only a 15 minute walk to the beach. There are...

We received thoughtful and knowledgeable hospitality from Michael regarding beach and dining options in the area. We loved the delicious breakfast and the decor of the inn. Our room was very comfortable and we enjoyed relaxing in the jacuzzi tub. Conveniently located near the highway and many appealing destinations. Great value relative to expensive getaways in Connecticut.

Upon arrival to the Inn makes you feel like you are home. Beautiful Inn and grounds makes it very inviting. Once inside you are greeted by Michael and Olive who make you feel like royalty! The public rooms are well decorated and inviting. The bedroom was cozy and very comfortable. Nice having a room upstairs for coffee, tea, soda, and some homemade...

My wife, who fondly remembers summers in Madison, wanted to go back to visit and reminisce. We selected the Scranton Seahorse Inn for its location (right next to Madison's main commercial street) and for its charm (a beautiful early 19th Century building). We were not disappointed. Our innkeeper showed us to a large, well-appointed room facing the Boston Post Road,...

Staying in Madison was a last-minute idea. I wanted a quick weekend away on the shore with my daughter who will be going to California for college in the fall. It was difficult to find a good quality and attractive place at such a late date, and it is almost impossible to evaluate hotels from photos. Everything I read about...

We chose a location in Madison by the seashore after a number of days tour in Washington, DC. The Inn was a wonderful break from the noise, pollution, and hectic pace of the city. We had hoped for a couple of sunny days at the sea, but the weather did not cooperate. However, Michael gave us excellent advice about traveling...

My wife and I stayed for two nights to celebrate our anniversary and had a wonderful stay. The Town View room is huge with a two person seating area and 5 windows. The house is comfortable and decorated nicely. The gardens and back yard are nice for a quiet break after a day out and about. Michael was very welcoming...

A gorgeous old home, marvelously maintained, tastefully decorated, with beautiful gardens. Beds were big and comfortable. Rooms have ample storage and space to move around. The air temp control in each room was also a nice feature. Hosts Michael and Olive went out of their way to make us feel welcome, with thoughtful gestures like loaning us a bike lock....
