Mary and Cooper welcomed us with real hospitality, and nothing was too much trouble. The accommodation is spotlessly clean and jam packed with original features, including antiques and paintings. Home cooked American style breakfasts were a treat with blueberry pancakes a speciality. The location was beautiful, if not a little too far out of town for those without transport, although Mary kindly offered to drive us!
thanks again for a great stay!

I had a three day hiking adventure on the AT in CT and couldn't have had a better time thanks to the shuttle service AND hospitality that Mary and Cooper offered during my stay. The whole house being two hundred years old had much to offer for the lover of pine floors and corner cupboards with tea cups and tea pots to adore. I wanted to stay longer just to enjoy the interior but the trail called and after all it's summer. I look forward to my next visit and if you are into birds there are plenty in the backyard as well as the surrounding woods.

Coming off the Appalachian Trail I was picked up & returned to trail head in the morning after a delicious pancake breakfast. Hosts lovely, house authentically historic and beautifully decorated.
P.S. So not understand negative comments above. Despite my Appalachian Trail hiker status I am accustomed to fine lodging, i.e. Fairmont, Four Seasons, etc, and have fine nose for mildew AND found nothing objectionable at this B&B.

Although owners are nice and friendly, it's an old, tired, cluttered, dingy house. Beds have worn out mattresses. Breakfast was a real disappointment. Very overpriced for what it is. You'll wish you were elsewhere!

It's basically a house with rooms to rent, ours had a private bath. The house is very old, there are some interesting odors. It's heated by wood and the bathroom was freezing. For a $100 a night in that area it would be worth it. We paid over $200 and it is most definitely not worth that. Since the advertised rate is $175 max not sure why we paid more especially since it was not "full.". We did not have breakfast because we are early risers and left long before anyone else was awake. Maybe that would have made the difference.

Mary and Cooper run a unique inn on the north side of Kent that is replete with lovely antiques, paintings, and prints. They are friendly, congenial hosts who provide information about the area and present a very good breakfast with an intimate setting. They are both seasoned professionals and engendered compelling, fun conversation and ambience while I was there. I came away having learned some very interesting anecdotes about the Kent area, in addition to education, careers, food, antiques and art,, and the interesting nature of the B&B business. The room was charming, with beautiful wood floors, and the bed comfortable.

A very friendly and comfortable home with four rooms run by Mary and Cooper. It is an old house with lots of character about 2.5 miles (4km) north of Kent.
The suite is spacious (own bathroom), the other rooms ok (shared bathroom). Generous breakfast cooked each day.

This was a beautiful place to stay ran by two of the nicest people along the trail. After some hard days of hiking, it was the perfect spot to take a day and recharge. I left feeling completely refreshed and ready to carry on with the trail.

We were coming off the Appalachian Trail and were fortunate to stay at this local B&B. The innkeepers, Mary and Cooper, were wonderful hosts picking us up and also shuttling us into town for dinner. The 19th century house with its uneven, wide-plank floors and warped-glass windows was as charming as the innkeepers. The town boasts a small collection of upscale and casual eateries and shops - and importantly for AT hikers - a laundromat, grocery store, and backpacking supply store. One of a kind place!
