If you are stressed and tired of being an adult - Camp getaway is the place you need to go to next weekend! This is the perfect summer camp FOR ADULTS!!
Only 90minutes away from New York City, this camp is the perfect getaway! The cost is about $500 per person, which include all meals, activities, and entertainment for the duration of the stay as well accommodations in a rustic cabin. Pick fun & adventurous activities while meeting new friends and just HAVE FUN!!

We had a week long company retreat at Club Getaway last week. Our group was around 20 in size and the Club Getaway staff could not have been more accommodating. The outdoor, tented space was perfect for meetings in this time of COVID. The staff took COVID precautions seriously and our team felt safe the entire time. The cabins were clean and comfortable, the food was plentiful and good, and the atmosphere was gorgeous. In terms of being able to get work done, the WiFi was strong and the tech screens and hookups were perfect. My group was able to work hard and play hard thanks to David and his attentive staff.

I saw the Bravo show, Camp Getaway and it looked so beautiful that I added it to my vacation destination list. I was excited to see it was open despite COVID. But still skeptical, I called to ask about safety and if they could satisfy my dietary needs. I spoke with a woman, Felicia, who answered all my questions, eased my concerns & linked me to their safety protocols. She's there for the adult weekends too & super fun! If you Google Club Getaway, their safety guide link will come up.

Words can't express the feeling of fun and freedom you get when you're there. Even after seeing the show, I had no idea it would be this amazing. The guests and staff were so friendly and camp offered zillions of activities. You could do almost anything: water and land sports, an areal park, zip line, cooking, bike, hike, pub "hike," keg slip n slide kickball, bloody mary music bingo, happy hour, tie-dye, Xtreme Stretching, chill in the lake and the list goes on. There are "Social Coordinators" whose job it is to lead activities, but they also party with us. They really help make the weekend fun, especially for someone like me who came alone.

The weekend I was there, there were about 75 people. Non-covid weekends can have up to 300. A repeat guest said that the smaller weekend was more intimate and he felt like he and his buddy made more friends that he would keep in touch with after, but both sizes are total blasts.

I'll definitely be back. It was fun going solo but the groups also had a blast.

We came in with our adult children for Labor Day weekend and had a fantastic time.

Let's start with the food... it was amazing! Every meal every snack we were like "this is soooo good!" We brought snacks thinking we may need for on between. We were wrong. We never felt hungry because food was available and plentiful.

The activities were fun. Soooo many activities!! Rock walls, zips, giant swing, tire climbs, zumba, pilates, yoga, balloon animals, tie dyes,($5 to buy a shirt via cash or venmo) bungee trampoline, slip and slide kickball, keg softball, archery, and more! couldn't do a few things due to covid. We were wanting to do archery tag and the big soccer balls you get inside, but all the other things were a blast! Our days were activity filled. There is always something to do. Geronimo was scary and so was the Arial course but we felt accomplished after.

Staff members are helpful, friendly, and so fun. Stacey was like part of our family by day 2. Anything we asked for someone helped us. We had key troubles but they fixed it for us.

The lake blow up stuff is incredibly fun and challenging.

The evening cocktail hrs to the theme parties at night, very enjoyable.
We danced the night away!

We bought the drink package which wasn't worth it for me as I only drink a couple drinks a day. The guys ... it was worth it. Mixed drinks are $9 each so figure out if it's worth purchasing.

Kudos Camp Getaway! You kno how to do it up right! We would definately like to plan a return visit!

Fun weekend away with friends and made some new ones! Participated in activities like Bloody Mary Bingo, Paint and Sip, a winery trip, yoga on the lawn, ropes courses, as well as nightly themed dinners and dance parties. Cabins can accommodate friends and if you're traveling with a significant other you can opt to stay in a cabin for two. We used both the air conditioning and the heat during Memorial Day Weekend and all cabins come with your own bathroom.

We arrived on July 10th for“Gen X Weekend“. Lots of safety measures were in place. Everyone had to get a Covid test upon arrival. So happy they did this. I felt very safe... All activities were socially distanced all functions being held outdoors. The entertainment was so good. The music was fantastic..... The food is served by the staff behind a Plexiglas. You could have as much food as you would like. The grounds and cabins were very clean. Staff was amazing. Special shout out to "ZB and Sam:! They made sure we had lots of fun. I definitely will return for another fun weekend!

If you're thinking of booking a trip to Club Getaway, just do it! I've been there about 20 times now over the past 13 years and this is my favorite destination anywhere. While I started out frequenting the adult (singles) weekends, I actually met my wife there about 10 years ago and now we are big fans of their family weekends, going with our 6 year-old "Club Getaway baby". Why so many times there? Simple. It's amazing. There's so much to do if you are active- from zip lines to water skiing to archery to softball, and dozens of more activities that are all included at no extra charge. There's even activities for the less active like pizza making and tie dying. There are also nightly themed parties. The food is fantastic with plenty of choices for every taste and diet. The cabins are clean, rustic-looking, but fully equipped with heat and A/C for when you need it. We just returned from an awesome family weekend. They instituted policies around Covid to keep everyone safe, and as a healthcare professional, I was impressed. Check out their website but try to remember that your experience will be even more fun than it looks.

I visited this camp during a fan fest and was shocked by the substandard accommodations. The rooms had stained beds and pillows, molded showers and shower curtains, no wifi and no heat during a weekend that saw 30 degree weather. I paid 5 star hotel prices for a 1 star room!! DO NOT waste your money on this camp.

My family had an amazing time. We only saw our 12 and 16 yo sons at bed and meals because they stayed busy with their groups. It was amazing having them disconnected from video games and physically pushing themselves to try new activities. My husband and I had a blast zip lining, doing the aerial swings, and other daring activities. The walking to each activity was challenging too but left us feeling invigorated. The counselors were AMAZING! Tyler, Jerome, Shelly, Abraham and all of the others made us feel welcomed and safe. Big O will always be my favorite though. When I was nervous to jump off the zip line he held my hand, had me close my eyes, and do deep breathing with him. If that isn’t first class service then I don’t know what is! I definitely recommend for families who want to challenge themselves and reconnect with nature. PS: your kids are allowed to stay with you so don’t let that scare you off;)

I know some of the bad reviews are old, but the complaints are pretty wild. It's a summer camp, not a resort or hotel.

I went with 4 friends to Club Getaway for an adult weekend and overall, it was very fun. They stress that this is a time to be a kid again and it is, but this time with the ability to drink. There were plenty of activities throughout the weekend to keep you busy and allow you to try new things. I would highly suggest doing the morning stretch on Saturday and suggest to the Camp to also have it on Sunday because we were sore and could've used it. (We are 31 years old.)

As for the accommodations, again, it's a summer camp. The 5 of us shared a bunk and there was one bathroom in the room. Didn't notice any pests and the room had a window AC and a ceiling fan. There was one high up window that needed some sort of shade, but we all brought eye masks, so it wasn't that big of deal.

Food was mostly good. Breakfast was the best, followed by lunch as they were both buffet. Dinner was family style and was just alright in comparison. Wine is included with dinner, which limited our out-of-pocket spend at the bar.

The cheers package was $159 when we went and that would've amounted to 22 cans or nearly 18 cocktails over 48 hours to break even. We opted not to get it and I only ended up spending $17 between one drink at arrival and the pub hike, which will get you pretty drunk if you want! You can use any $$ you saved on that to enter their raffle to win another stay. The $$ from that goes towards their non-profit.

Hi, for most of our weekends the majority of guests are 25-45 but we typically have groups that are 55+ as well. On Gen X weekend the guests are 35+. Let us know if we can help in any other way.

you can find the answer here on club getaway's website. I can't put the site on the response, Trip Advisor won't allow that. Just google "Club Getaway Dates and Rates" to find it

they have a normal bar and $30 bar cards, so you don't have to purchase the alcohol package to get some drinks.
