My husband and I recently stayed at The Firefly Inn while attending a wedding in the area. Wow, the newly renovated Inn is beautiful! We stayed in the Peter Starbuck suite which has a lovely gas fireplace, love seat and wine refrigerator. The mattress and bedding are clearly all new and top quality as they were fresh and comfortable. The bathroom was stunning with a large glass tiled shower and separate bathtub. There are a number of lovely spaces for gathering and relaxing - an outdoor patio overlooking the expansive lawn, a cafe area with snacks, drinks and coffee and the living room complete with a full array of games. The new owners have spared no expense in making the new Inn an inviting and luxurious place to stay in Kent. What a wonderful addition to a beautiful part of Connecticut!

I stayed at the Inn while attending a wedding in Pawling, NY - and I'm so happy I did. The Inn has been beautifully renovated, and feels fresh and new inside. The furnishings throughout had me taking photos for decorating ideas; the decor is a wonderful blend of comfort, excellent design, and pure fun. My room (The Kate Hopson Suite) was enormous, with a gas fireplace and inviting armchair. I'm picky about bedding and towels, and they were all excellent - as were the bathroom toiletries.
The rest of the Inn has multiple places to sit and read, or have a cup of coffee with friends; the tea room (with snacks, beverages, tea and coffee) has the the happiest wallpaper I've ever seen. Downtown Kent is a short walk away.
I'll be looking for an excuse to return!

I highly recommend the Firefly Inn, part of the Kent Collection. Our room was luxurious and immaculate. And very quiet. The bathroom was especially wonderful. There are several inviting and comfortable public rooms to hang out in. And it’s very well located for exploring Kent.

We stayed at the Firefly for our Kent School Reunion weekend of June 23rd. The Inn was totally renovated and brand new. Great beds, mattresses and pillows. Real nice bathroom and shower. They have my favorite Nespresso coffee and lots of goodies. They did a great job and we loved it. 5 Stars for the new owners!!!!
