We loved our trip to Kent and staying at Starbuck Inn was a treat! Peter was a wonderful host and helped with anything we needed like bike hire etc. The Inn is so relaxing and everything is beautiful. Our room was very comfwortable and Peter's breakfasts are delicious!

We are fortunate to have three boarding schools in the town of Kent. Thank you for choosing Starbuck Inn while visiting Kent School. It is our mission to make domestic and international family members comfortable in our home style environment. Many thanks for your kind comments.

Honestly, location was a key factor in my choosing the Starbuck Inn. My wife is walking the Appalachian Trail, and Kent Connecticut is the perfect location for two of her stops; so there we stayed two nights. But Peter Starbuck lifted the mere accommodation to a luxury resource. His intimate knowledge of the area, of the Appalachian Trail's local challenges,...

This was my second stay at the Starbuck Inn. I was very pleased the first time and even more so this time. The Starbuck Inn provides a unique environment for rejuvenating after a day of fly fishing on the Housatonic River.....understated, old money luxury with decent WIFI, a large quiet spotless room, firm mattress, the best linens, and a gourmet...

Gerard, It's always a pleasure to host you at Starbuck Inn. The beginning of fly fishing season here in the Housatonic River Valley is a wonderful right of passage as we move into the fine Spring weather. Many thanks for your kind words. We look forward to hosting you again. We'll have breakfast and afternoon tea, at the ready! And...

Staying at the Starbuck Inn was like a pleasant transformation back in time. My husband and I went there for a weekend to have a quiet break from our hectic city life. Peter, our host, was very considerate and offered an extremely hospitable environment. The living room area felt so cozy with it's fireplace and old 40s tunes playing. The...

We stayed one night here and it was magical. We were the only guests as it was midweek mid December and we felt so at home. We were greeted with afternoon tea and due to the rain, relaxed with the open fire. Amazing homemade breakfast and coffee and great local knowledge and restaurant recommendations. The room was beautiful and we...

We were traveling with our two teen daughters, looking at boarding school in the New England area. We use Starbuck Inn as our base, and from there it was easy to navigate to the other areas of Connecticut, New York, and Massachusetts. Peter was a wonderful host, and his home is quaint, New England style, with a lot of warmth....

An error in planning resulted in my very pregnant wife and I wandering through northwest Connecticut looking for a room in an inn. (We would have settled for a manger, but found something quite the opposite.) After a few dead ends, we came across Peter Starbuck and his delightful Starbuck Inn. I'm sure he saw the misfortune on our faces,...

My wife and I were guests at the Starbuck Inn....our experience could not have been more rewarding. Peter is a gracious, warm, and welcoming host who has a wealth of local knowledge at his command, and the property is steeped in local and regional history. The rooms are spotless and comfortable, the afternoon teas are not to be missed, and...

We had just arrived at JFK international and were looking for accommodation on the way north to see the fall. Kent was good distance for our first night. Definite country, good for a long walk and to recover from jet lag. Peter was welcoming and friendly. The room was spacious and comfy.
