Built in 1890 and fully renovated in 2022, The Victorian is an inviting, spacious, elegant, character-filled backdrop for your family gathering, long weekend with friends, holiday party, or other special occasion. The Victorian sleeps up to 12 and can be booked by the room or as a full-house rental.
Places to stay are graded on a 0-100 scale. The higher the grade, the easier it is for travellers to find restaurants and things to do within walking distance.
My wife and I stayed at the Victorian Inn last weekend. It was one of the most pleasant and romantic stays I have ever experienced. The atmosphere is friendly, serene, comfortable, and absolutely delightful in every way. The town is an easy walk, quaint and charming. We will be back there often, and I could not recommend it more highly.

The Victorian at The Kent Collection is an amazing place! The newly renovated property is an incredible mix of modern design and antique furnishings that made me feel right at home. The innkeeper welcomed us with open arms, gave us a tour of the entire property and helped us settle into our room, known as The Wedding Suite, which was filled with lots of light. The enormous bathroom has a huge, inviting claw-foot tub - heavenly. The property is super close to downtown Kent so we could walk to restaurants and shops. And the innkeeper helped us plan excursions around the area - we hiked the falls, visited the brewery and bought too much cheese at the local cheese shop.

The Victorian experience was truly extraordinary. From the moment we stepped through the front door of the newly renovated inn, we enjoyed every facet - the warm welcome upon arrival and the attention to design detail showcased throughout every room. We were treated like VIP's by the incredible staff - Keli, Darlene and Joe. We could tell that the owners meticulously labored over every detail in this amazingly beautiful restoration. We loved the gas lanterns that lined the brick walkway and the huge front porch with the swing built for two. We stayed in the Wedding Suite complete with a gas fireplace, huge claw foot bath tub, plush robes, Apotheke toiletries, and an extra large shower. The bed was very comfortable, dressed with premium linens, pillows and comforter. We loved making drinks, having snacks, and socializing at the cool newly designed bar, and playing cards while listening to music in the library.
The town of Kent was very quaint, with both sides of the street lined with unique shops, restaurants and art galleries. You must check out the cool shops/galleries in Kent Barns right off the main street too. We also took advantage of the great hiking around Kent where we took in the beautiful scenery at Kent Falls.
Without hesitation, we highly recommend the Kent Collection Victorian Inn and we can't wait to come back!

The Kent Collection, including the Firefly Inn and The Victorian, are the places to stay if you find yourself in the Kent CT area. Inn Keepers Keli and Joe, and the rest of the staff, are welcoming, relaxed and professional. You are aware from moment you arrive that they pay attention to every detail and take pride in the beautiful comfortable spaces they have created. This stunning group of Inn's rivals some of the finest hotels our group has stayed in for comfort, service and cleanliness. The Guest rooms and Bathrooms are spacious, beautiful, clean and comfortable. The common areas are lovely and inviting, and the grounds are impeccably maintained with plenty of places to sit and enjoy the landscape. We will return and have already recommended to friends.

Just spent the most luxurious night at the Kent Collection's Victorian. The minute you walk in, you can feel the warmth of what feels like a "home" envelop you. Each room has it's own unique style and is beautifully decorated. It not only looks beautiful but the mattress, pillows and sheets are all of the highest quality. I just wish we had more time to spend enjoying the coziness that has so artfully been created. Definitely will recommend to friends as a must stay!

My wife and I had a magical stay at The Victorian. The whole house is charming, each room was beautifully decorated. There's a game room to play in or you can grab a book from the shelf and just sit by the fireplace. You could sit at the bar and have a drink or wander into the fabulous kitchen and make tea and coffee or have a quick bite from an array of snacks and treats. Our room could not have been more comfortable--everything we could have wanted was provided. Keli and Joe were delightful hosts and ensured we had a perfect stay. The town of Kent is just a walk down the street to find great coffee, candy, and delicious lunches and dinners.

If you want to step out of your everyday routine and into a little slice of Kent, Connecticut Heaven, you simply must stay at one of the Kent Collection properties. Our stay at ‘The Victorian’ was like stepping back in time but bringing every modern comfort and luxury with us! Every detail is carefully curated…plush beds, gas lamps, clawfoot tubs, fireplaces galore…we felt warmly welcomed throughout our stay. A gorgeous place for family gatherings, private getaways or business off sites…The Kent Collection will be our go-to place and we hope it will be yours too!

Charming Victorian old house, renovated to perfection. Made to feel very comfortable with lots of a snacks, drinks, coffee machines available. Breakfast wasn’t available due to the new kitchen lacking it’s inspection, which was a bit of a bummer for the price point. It would be ideal to rent the whole house for a family reunion!

This was my second stay at the Victorian and it is officially my favorite spot in Kent. I had the pleasure of staying in the Victoria and Albert Suite (Room 5), and it was divine! The bed was extremely comfortable, and I loved having a balcony to sit and relax on. The room came with yoga mats for those who enjoy a morning stretch. The decor at the Victorian is fun and sly, with stunning wallpaper in fresh patterns and unique, vivid appointments. The snack and beverage options are wide-ranging and delectable. This was a solo trip and I soaked up the luxury. Last time I was with my partner, and the two of us and our son had fun playing games in the study. I'll be back to indulge in more of the Victorian's charm in the future.
