We visited on a very rainy Saturday and turned up a bit early for lunch but nevertheless were welcomed in (sorry about walking on your newly washed floor!). Staff were friendly and accomodating.
It's quite an "olde worlde" feel inside the restaurant which is situated on the road from St Andrews/Guardbridge to Dundee and has been reopened this year by Manuel Rascon and his family.
We had a lovely lunch (Tapas, Burritos, Fondant Chocolate cake and Crème Brûlée with soft drinks and coffees to finish). The menu is a Scottish/Mexican/Spanish blend which will appeal to many.
Kryztal, Manuel's wife, came over personally at the end of the meal to ensure all was well, which was a lovely touch.
All in all, well worth a visit for breakfast, lunch or dinner!

This is a very comfortable inn, within easy reach of St Andrews and the other attractions of Fife. The hosts, Manuel and Krystal, who have only been there for a year, could not be more attentive and welcoming, and the food, which has both Spanish and Mexican touches, is superlative. Our rooms were comfortable, particularly the beds, and the place is spotlessly clean. They are still in a process of refurbishment, but this in no way gets in the way of the guests. The breakfast is Continental, and it would be improved if it was put out as a buffet rather than listed verbally at the table.

We decided to pop in for a meal as we were regular customers pre covid. The inn has recently been taken over and is open again, We had the steak pie which used to be a popular favourite at the resteraunt. Our food was unfortunately only like warm, the steak had a lot of fat in it and little seasoning the peas were also undercooked.
The toilet seat in the ladies was not clean. The waitresses were pleasant enough but I didn't want to hear their conversation taking place right behind me at the bar. This place will definitely have to up it's game if they are to survive in this current financial climate.

We stopped here for lunch, after a 4 hour drive from North East England.
We were the only customers in at the time but the Inn deserves to be much busier - the food is fabulous! The pasta was creamy and delicious, the Thai curry was a hit. The request for extra chilli sauce was accommodated and we even got a jar of the special paste to take home. We’ll definitely be back (maybe book rooms next time. The rooms look amazing!)

This is my third eating at this pub, and again the food was delicious and the staff were lovely. While the kitchen normally closes earlier on a Wednesday, they were gracious and welcoming even though I was a bit late. We were not rushed at all and the food came out fresh and hot. I recommend the vegan fish and chips even if you aren't vegan. And definitely end your meal with their crème brûlée! It was a lovely meal and we will be back.

Another lovely meal delivered by chef Manuel. Once again great value and excellent quality delivered with a personal touch.
In addition to chef duties Manuel spent time to talk to all of his customers and he and Crystal provided a level of hospitality normally associated with a five star venue.
Well done and thank you. We will be back to enjoy more meals in 2024 from an evolving menu.

A wee gem of a place to eat. We went for aSunday evening meal for my birthday. A wee bit of a wait when we first got to our table but they were very busy and did say at the start. Had 2 courses (starter and main) from the main menu. Tapas, and soups ordered between our party of 5 and clean plates all round. Mains included steaks and salmon (catch of the day). Food was beautifully cooked mix of medium and medium rare steaks cooked to perfection. Definately go back and would recommend, value for money.

This review covers the restaurant only as we live nearby. I also, very very rarely write reviews but this is our 4th visit to the restaurant since the new owners took over and can honestly say, the food and attention from staff has been first class during every visit.
We shared the tapas as a starter. I had the fresh Sea Bass and my husband had the Rib Eye Steak, as recommended by the friendliest and attentive, Beth. Everything was just as we’d hoped: fresh, hot and very tasty. We will definitely be back and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to all. Thank you

We had came to visit family, and wanted to take her out for dinner, so she said about trying here. We was greeted by the lovely manageress, we hadn't made a reservation, so we told there might be a wait as they had two big parties in. We sat down and within 10 mins the waitress came over to take our order. The food came out, it all looked lovely. I had vegetarian fish and chips, the fish was actually mushroom, which I never had before ( lovely), my husband had ordered the steak pie it was massive, with loads of big chucks of steak in. Our aunt ordered the lamb shank which was hugh. None of us could finish our dinners. It's so very reasonable priced as well. The chef actually came out and asked if everything was ok, never had that before, such a personal touch. The manageress was telling us their in the middle of updating the inn, as they haven't long taken it over. So if you want a lovely restaurant, with a good atmosphere, great food and lovely staff. This is the restaurant for you. When we come back up again, we might even try and book a room there.
