Cleanliness: Every area seemed perfectly clean
Furnishings & appearance: The hotel in general is only a couple of years away from not passing grade regarding this. Although clean, everything is just old, especially in the bathrooms. Definitely time for an upgrade.
Breakfast: Fresh and good. Scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, breads, fruit, juices & yogurt.
Our room, 113, was very clean but stuffy. After about 20 minutes, we realized the air conditioner was not working. We called the main desk, and no questions asked, they immediately gave us a new room with a working air conditioner!
Again, our room was very clean. We had 2 double beds....my husband, my grandson and I. There was a TV, micro, small fridge, coffee maker and plenty of outlets.
Because of Covid, the pool was closed and also the continental breakfast wasn't open. Instead we were given a bagged breakfast which we could take back to our room. There is also a full serve restaurant there, Flanagans at the Baymont Inn, with very reasonably priced breakfasts. So we bought the breakfasts and our server, Greg, gave us the bagged breakfasts to carry out! I loved Greg and if I could have, I would have brought him home with me. The restaurant wasn't very busy so he spent some time chatting with us and we felt like he was a long time friend. The next morning he remembered everything we told him and we chatted some more. This guy made our trip. He was so attentive. The breakfasts we ordered had huge servings and were delicious and reasonably priced. Thank you, Greg, for making our experience there so memorable. If we are ever in the area again, because of you, we will stay there again!
