I didn't want to pay the high price for the ski in ski out rooms but wanted to stay somewhere with easy access. The gondola from this hotel to the village is great, with only a 2.5 min ride and operating all day. Much better...More
We stayed here during the Christmas Holiday and during the New Years holiday. We rented the loft room for our son to stay upstairs. The extra room was great.
The staff could not have been any more professional and accommodating. Rooms were immaculate. TVs are...More
We stayed at the Vintage Resort Hotel in Winter Park Village for four nights the week before Christmas. It is very conveniently located near the slopes with the cable car that takes you to the village only 60 feet from the front door. The pool,...More

Hi Mark, Unfortunately it is not free unless you rent your equipment from Winter Park rentals. You can rent a ski locker at the base and it is $16 day or $24 day/overnight and they hold up to 4 pairs of skis/poles or 3 snowboards. The other option is at the tune shop you can store your skis/poles for $7 overnight but that is just one pair. They do have wagons at the bottom of the Cabriolet to haul your equipment in to take over to ski area if you don't want to carry which makes it much easier especially for skiers. Hope this helps. When I was there last summer, none of the restaurants or bars were open on site. There was only access to convenience-type snacks sold through the front desk. Nothing available for morning or later evening before/after restaurants open/close. There are coffee makers and small refrigerators in the room to store your own items.
Many good restaurants are accessible by the cabriolet lift (about 10 min) to the mountain base area from about 7 am until about 8 pm.
