After all is Vail. Too much of great become just good and it is hard to find something Awe in this place. Food is very good but not great and with the price tag should be unbelievable!! Of course is Vail!! The Marriott resort is the cheapest around and it will be very costly not as bad the other ones...

With Marriott and Starwood merging I was told my platinum benefits would transfer over to Marriott. Upon check in they said since they were a resort hotel they would not honor the platinum benefit of free breakfast. I further inquired about who owned the hotel and of course its Vail Resorts – it’s amazing to me that a franchise can...

Good but not the best location Services are top notch , all personnel are extremely attentive and makes the Hotel to work flawlessly The Only complaint is the breakfast price .., it's a rip off $34 per person? And it's an standard buffet , this is the main reason I don't give a 5* Avalanche bar is good and attractive!

This is the 2nd year in a row we're stayed here. Great location for spending time in Lion's Head Village - only a short walk away. The ski valet is clutch - nice to not have to lug your skis to and from the hill. No a whole lot of character to the rooms.

My husband and I stayed here for a couples getaway. We are both avid travelers and both Platinum members so I feel my opinion should be valid as we have extensive experience with Marriott hotels worldwide. I would agree with other reviews in that the rooms are tired. We were in a king suite with kitchenette and fireplace but the...

We stayed 2 nights and would happily return. The hotel itself is dated and needs a refurb, but it is still good. The lobby looks somewhat updated, but the rooms were a little tired. The staff and the convenience to the gondola are fantastic. The ski valet service is wonderful and everyone is so nice and helpful. On the whole...

The best location. BEST!! Walk to gondola, shopping, dining. The free Vail shuttle stops at the front of the hotel. Ski Valet brings your skis to and from the mountain.Valet stores your boots. Ski shop on premises to rent, tune-up, repair equipment. They also stock clothing, and accessories. Live entertainment in the evening, outdoor heated pool. The staff is terrific....

We were very pleased with our stay at the Marriott. Service was excellent, rooms very spacious and comfy. We had a small suite with an adjoining room for the teenage boys. There was a even gas fireplace, very cozy. Great views of the mountain from our room as well. Charter sports downstairs took care of all our rental needs, including...

I dreamed about staying at this hotel back in the early 80's. I finally got to stay here, over 30 years later! It's what I expected. They even had 70s and 80s music playing at the Pool! It's a little walk over to the gondola, but not too bad. Indoor hot tub was incredible after skiing all day. Friendly staff....

Coming from MN Nice- I was absolutely amazed at how friendly everyone was for each of the venues I visited while here. From food and drink suggestions to other sight seeing ideas- everyone had smiles and seemed to really enjoy what they were doing!
