If you want to save some money and you don't mind an aging hotel that's a little frayed around the edges and gets drafty close to the windows, then this is your place. It has ample parking, just off the frontage road and in the village. has a great Nepalese/Indian restaurant and a sports bar as well. NIce, large hot... More

You're not going to get closer to the gondolas at a better price than this. At first glance I thought we were going to have to spend a fortune to stay in Vail but we were lucky enough to find the Evergreen. Great location. Great restaurants . Good energy. And they have a ski shop on site that had everything... More

Me and my wife have been coming to Vail for years and finally decided to get a place at The Evergreen. The staff were great and the room was perfect. We had curry at Annapurna and the service and food was fantastic. Thanks to everybody there! We would definitely stay there again.

It was the cheapest i could find. If your looking for a bed while you ski all day and casually peruse at night, this is place. It's definitely nothing fancy. Not sure i'd even recommend it for my parents though

Absolutely correct. We are the economy option in Vail (one of the only ones actually) This is a great place to come for a ski vacation as long as you don't expect anything posh. By lacking opulence we are able to keep our prices down and allow more middle income families to come and enjoy the Vail Valley. Alan K.... More

Not sure i understand the negative reviews... It's a budget priced hotel.... You get what you pay for. These are high elevation mountain resorts, that don't need AC... The bar in the main lobby should be your sign its low budget. But I would rather spend my time with people having fun, rather than complaining about the presentation of their... More

Stayed for 1 night in October. For $130 plus tax it was well worth the rate! Halls were in desperate need of updating but the rooms were nice. Beds comfortable, room was fine, and it was nice to have a patio. Room had a mini fridge, hair dryer, free wifi. Great value would return!

I regretfully spent three nights here on a business trip. My colleagues stayed at the Marriott for $4 more per night, but I chose Evergreen because it was pet friendly (for $25 per night). While they received nice beds, quiet rooms, and lovely terraces, my choice got me: 1) Two super-firm beds when I requested one King. Upon checkout, when... More

Very basic and old hotel. Looks much better online than in person. They do not offer room service. And you cannot control the AC in your room so the room got very warm. walking distance to Vail Village but with all the other nicer hotels in the area I wouldn't recommend staying here.

This is an older hotel; however, after checking out the prices of the various hotels and other lodging alternatives in Vail, we found this hotel to be extremely reasonable and we're pleased we chose it. Good hotel with awesome location and views in Vail. Not a far walk to shops and restaurants and a short drive to several other areas like Eagle-Vail and Avon. I would recommend. The common areas do need some cleaning.

Hey Nickwhit, Thanks for giving us some great feedback; positive and constructive. I couldn't agree with you more about our great location.
