I have a timeshare in Vail for the Winter and I did a getaway for the Summer at this resort. I was very happy with the amenities and the location. We were able to walk to shopping . There was a heated pool and the condo itself was fantastic with 2 bedrooms and 2 sleeper sofas in the huge living... More

My husband and I stayed at Vail Run Resort for a week when we were in Vail. Check in was very smooth. Everyone who worked there from the front desk, maintenance to housekeeping were very friendly and helpful. The location is awesome. We could walk to Lionshead Village and Town Center. It is right off hi way 70 so when... More

We thank the reviewer for their comments. The Resort works on room upgrades during the Spring and Fall shutdown periods. During this fall all rooms received new sofa sleepers and new mattresses were installed in the final 1/3 of the units that did not receive them in the Spring. More

Great place with all the amenities. Pool and hot tub were nicely maintained. Restaurant had great sandwiches and good selection of drinks and beer. Although an older property it was well maintained. It is located on north side of highway so it isn't in the thick of the action but has several good restaurants close by.

The staff at the Vail Run Resort were exceptional - The resort is convenient, since it is right off of I-70 it can be noisy. This is not a luxury resort, but an excellent value for Vail. I would recommend this to any family looking for clean, comfortable accommodations, close to everything in Vail and Lionshead at a reasonable price,

The good: nice enough pool and spa. Cookies on weekends. Lots of cable TV channels. Bus stop just outside door. The bad: worn out gym equipment, average condo appointments. Noisy from I70 traffic. Not a relaxing place due to the noise. Also the smell of the pizza shop in the basement is slightly cloying and annoying.

We checked in yesterday and are still here. I look at the pics of Vail Run on their website and this is not even close to what a 1 bedroom looks like. No matter what the mgr. says a 1 bedroom is a studio at best and should be advertised as such. Also their is indoor parking and we still... More

There is nothing fancy about this resort. Just a great place with personable staff members at a very good price. We did not look for a place with all the amenities, because we planned on being out and about hiking, biking, and exploring all the nearby mountains and trails. It is situated within minutes of great restaurants, shopping, and major... More

Stayed in a two bedroom unit using RCI points. We had 4 adults and two children and plenty of space. Three twin beds in one room and a queen in the other - two pull out sofas offered additional sleeping space but we brought a cot for our youngest child. Only downside was it had just one shower. Kitchen was... More

For my fourth time I stayed at the VR. This time only with friends... (Been there with family before). The room was one of the duplex at the 5th floor. Huge. For 6 guys, everyone got his own bed. The building is old, but totally functional. A pizza bar in the first floor... Which is super good. Big pool heated, jacuzzi... More
