The hospitality of Bill and Carolyn is as great as the views, which are not exaggerated by the “Twin Lakes Suite” website. Bill cooks perfect eggs, and Carolyn has several breakfast specialties from hollandaise sauce for Eggs Benedict to gourmet pancakes and French toast. The Suite is really a six room (2 bedroom) apartment on the ground floor of their... More

We happened upon Twin Lakes Suites in our search for a relaxing and quiet place to enjoy the mountains and the beauty of the Twin Lakes area over the July 4th holiday. How lucky for us, as we plan to go back the next time we are on vacation! The suite is large, lovely, clean and boasts a great view... More

My husband and I had the pleasure of staying at the Twin Lakes Suite for two nights. This B&B is located on a hill overlooking the lakes. I would suggest an AWD vehicle, as you will have to travel over several dirt roads to get to it. The owners, Bill and Carolyn, went out of their way to ensure we... More

We arrived (grandma, two moms, three teenage girls) from AZ, MO, and CO to watch and help one mom run the Leadville Trail Marathon. We found the accomodations excellent, the food outstanding, and Caroline and Bill exactly what B&B folks should be: there when needed, out of sight when not. Our 4th of July breakfast was especially memorable: food and... More

The proprietors, Bill and Carolyn Calhoun, went above and beyond--even making a birthday cake for my daughter's birthday! The suite was spacious and comfortable--an unbelievable value for the $$$. And the view from the sunroom is absolutely spectacular! All in all, I can't say enough good about our experience here...we WILL be back!

You have your own little haven (small two bedroom) apartment with sunroom and fantastic views. Food was excellent, Bill and Carolyn are the ideal hosts. Would definitely come and stay again.

My wife and I had a few days to spend in central Colorado following a trip to Colorado Springs for a wedding, and we remembered the Twin Lakes area from a trip we took nearly 20 years ago. We remembered the seclusion of the area, the mountain beauty, and wanted to find someplace to stay to take advantage of both.... More
