I booked here because I wanted some relaxation, this didn't happen, a company group were having a sports day complete with loud speakers blasting out a running commentary and music. There was no room on the beach since the russian tourists had occupied all the sun loungers with towels and belongings for the entire duration of their stay. The hotel did nothing to alleviate this problem, leaving the rest of the guests, without anywhere to relax. The Alexa beach area was closed during the week due to apparent maintenance which I didn't see.
The breakfast was the usual fried rice buffet, a buffet is not the most hygienic with every guest using the same utensils.
Apart from that, the rooms were large and comfortable, WiFi was almost non existent and the TV channels were 90% Thai, very limited.

If you have low expectations for your trip, this is a great place

It is true that it is by the beach (and it is rather a nice one), but the owners forgot that the product.

Even rooms are renovated (sea view ones) the building is old, rooms are not charming and you have from 10am. to 11pm a poor Quality sound music from the beach club beside (Alexa)

***I have the impression it belongs to the hotel, as they are connected

Even if the club is empty the music will never let you enjoy nature. Breakfast Buffet is pretty much industrial (cp sausages, bad dropped cafe, slide bread...) Everything to control cost

First, I want to thank the team for their hospitality during our vacation. We arrived early after LONG flight & the staff made us feel welcomed by looking after our bags, getting us signed in & offering us welcome drink.
The front desk staff were very helpful, gave us information & directions when needed. The breakfast team were very efficient, always asking if we need anything.
Breakfast was lovely. Freshly cooked eggs, fruit and salad, endless supply of fresh toast & hot drinks
They also got the beach club where u got the stanning view and beautiful pool and restaurant where you can dine in for lunch and dinner
Overall, we are planning to return in a year or so. The service at this resort was great and made our stay delightful.

We booked a Pool Villa through Agoda, but hotel gave us a room in the hotel block. When queried were told we would have to pay an extra 1,700 per night for a pool villa, as the agent had only booked a room. As we had paid in advance we were not at all impressed. Who is pocketing the extra we paid for the pool villa?

We went there for a night and we did not think it worth the money at all!

We reserved the garden villa which is away from the main lobby, we had to drive to the villa by ourself without information on the website and the parking area is the nightmare, and it's next to the huge & noisy laundry room which staff kept the door open so we notice that they put all the towels on the floor.

The room is outdated, dark, but big enough for us. The bed was very comfortable, clean, great pillows.

And you may need to bring your own bath amenities as they provided only cheapest bath amenities which it has not nice smell as same as the amenities you may find in the hostel.

Again after the long drive from home, you have to drive to the villa and drive to enjoy hotel facility at Alexa Beach Club as it too far to walk.

Alexa Beach Club is the best place in this hotel that you could feel relax, the pool & bar are well organizied and they have a lot of choices for cocktail, beer or wine. Only a bit upset with the food as the quality doesn't match with the over price which was set by the hotel

Breakfast buffet will be served at Alexa Beach Club and had limited choice of food but great.

Lastly we would like to thank you for the service from all staffs, we know that it's the hard time for them at this stage.

Nothing can bring us back ............

After reading the reviews about the Grand Jomtien Pinnacle Hotel, I still couldn’t understand why they were so diametrically opposed. Now, having been with my family, I can draw my own conclusion. So, if you are accustomed to 5-star hotels, or 4-star hotels that fall slightly short of 5 stars, then you will be very disappointed, since this hotel barely reaches 3 stars, I’ll explain why. Well, it’s no secret that the sea in Pattaya is very dirty, so be prepared to see various bags, bottles, ropes in the water, this is not a minus of the hotel, but a very unpleasant moment, since you don’t really want to go into the water because for disgust. The downside of the hotel is that there are very few sun loungers, although the territory allows you to arrange as many of them as possible. The pool is a separate sore point. As it turned out later, special chemicals are added to the pool, which cause severe burns in children (boys aged 5-12 years). What can I say about the hotel itself: firstly, the location is strange, if I had walked in those places, I would never have thought that this was a hotel, since mostly people are used to seeing well-groomed areas in front of the hotel, planted with palm trees and flowers, which is natural did not have. Further, there is no reception desk, which is also quite strange for a hotel that positions itself as a 5-star hotel. Secondly, the Internet on the hotel premises works very poorly, and on some days there was no Internet at all, as they explained to me: Apparently, work is underway. Thirdly, the rooms simply do not have the personal hygiene products that everyone is used to, i.e., disposable kits, bathrobes, slippers, and sewing kits. Shampoo and soap are not in the usual bottles, but in dispensers located in the shower. Fourthly, the hotel is not fenced off: come in whoever wants, take what you want; not a single camera, that is, there are obvious security problems. Fifthly, the really important issue for me is the issue of nutrition. So, for breakfast every day it’s the same thing, no variety. Baked goods include only bread and croissants. The only fruits were pineapples, watermelons, rarely papaya and once bananas. In general, it’s sparse and gets boring quickly.
Accordingly, based on the above, we can conclude that if this is your first trip abroad or to Thailand, then perhaps you will like it, but if you are used to five-star hotels and have been to Asia, where there is a clean sea, ocean, excellent cuisine, room and stunning views, then this hotel is clearly not for you. Don’t waste your money and time, so as not to be disappointed, it’s better to go to Phuket or Sri Lanka. Also, do not trust the photographs posted on this site, as they do not correspond to reality, verified. I really hope that I can help someone with my review!

The minimum i expect when i go to a hotel is a greeting, the receptionist didn’t even bother to say hello. When you’re checking in you feel you are at the immigration office at the airport not at a hotel. The receptionist doesn’t talk to you like he has been instructed not to talk . We went 3 people booked 3 single rooms w get our rooms keys and apparently he gives us 3 rooms with twin beds.
I ask why he gave us twin beds he said because we didn’t ask for king and he replies very very rudely like ‘why you don’t tell me you want a king’ , i actually didn’t think 3 people would need 6 beds but sure…I work more than 12 hours a day 6 days a week, when i take 2 days off to go to pattaya this guy just comes and ruins it with his rude hostile behavior, force me to sleep in a room alone on a single bed on my well deserved 2 day staycation. This is really a pitty. It shows why the resort is not well maintained it is because the employees don’t really want to work. Same happened for the check out , we went with all our bags and stand up in front of the reception waiting to check out we weren’t even greeted nor assisted until we had to go and check if they are available to serve us. The word ‘sawasdee ka’ no one uses it at this resort

Anyway, the resort location is beautiful and the land they have is magnificent, 2 pools a private beach access and even a beach club next to it, but i would never step foot in that hotel again. And this guy that you have at the reception must be fired immediately if this is a business you’re trying to run bcz the guy thinks it’s his house not a hotel where he needs to behave and treat people with good manners or at least smile! It’s called hospitality! Also, i am talking from 13 years of experience in the hospitality industry and a Phd in Tourism, if I was managing this hotel, this guy would be sent home today before tomorrow

Dear SamdM2374OE, I am sorry to read of your less than satisfactory experience at Pinnacle Grand Jomtien Resort and Beach Club. I can assure you that this is not the typical Pinnacle hospitality experience that our team continually works hard to deliver to all our guests. Whilst I am pleased that you found the resort’s location, pools, private beach and beach club beautiful and magnificent, your feedback very much reminds us of how integral first impressions and quality service delivery is to the overall guest experience. We are addressing your comments to ensure that our service effectively moves from average to excellent. We hope that there will be another opportunity to deliver a more positive and memorable stay at Pinnacle Hospitality in the future. Thank you for your valuable feedback. Yours sincerely, Abby Salvador Guest Relations Manager

The worst thing about this resort is it caters to too many Russian tourists who selfishly take all the beach towels to reserve the sun chairs on the beach, and additional beach chairs to dry themselves with when they eventually get down to the sun chairs. Subsequently other guests miss out on chairs that remain empty for hours! And there are no towels left for other guests. The hotel needs to set up rules about this practice so all guests can enjoy the resort. We did not see the point of the Alexa beach club that was causing noise pollution with hideous music and no one even there. People just want to relax, not get a headache! They've seriously misunderstood their clientele. We had a few minor issues with our room but the staff immediately dealt with the issues so that was a positive. Another positive was the breakfast selection though it was too busy a scene to be enjoyable. The resort is also a little out of the way but that can be a good thing too. Problem is getting taxis takes a long time. Cute dejection of beach shack cafes nearby. Dreadful amount of rubbish on the beach. Something needs to be done about this!

There are so many better options around Pattaya and the Jomtien area than this hotel. From the moment we checked in, we were disappointed with both the service and the facilities. The check-in experience was slow and left a poor first impression. Throughout our short stay, the overall service lacked the attentiveness we had hoped for.

Our Superior Room was very dirty and worn down, nothing like the pictures advertised. The breakfast was very basic and boring, offering little variety or quality. Just go elsewhere, there are so many other better options. Even though we didn’t pay a lot, we still felt like we didn’t get our money’s worth.

I'll start with the room, the air conditioning works cleanly, the linen is changed when you hang the sign, and they can clean all day, here I consider either the cleaning regime of the rooms is not elaborate or there is not enough staff, the room is standard, but I according to a long time not renovated! and the room has no hygiene products (shampoo, soap, shower gel), but for some reason there are cotton wands! the second evening I broke the balcony window and believe me it was very difficult to explain myself on the phone with the receptionist, had to go to the reception and explain what they say "on my fingers" since the Russian-speaking receptionist was alone and he was on duty only on the day of my arrival (I rested 6 days), the view from the room was round pool, beautiful, especially I liked the liana and birdsong in the morning, it was great! the area was well groomed enough, a variety of flowering trees, flowers, fish pond, breakfasts quite, good assortment, but apparently on weekends the locals come there, it was very annoying, there was absolute chaos, screaming, running locals with plates, at 8:00h there was practically no food and had to wait for the cooks to prepare food again, with sweeping residents waiting for the arrival not like we did at the reception but all over the hotel, someone laid out just by the pool and had a picnic, so a person for 10, in general was very noisy and does not look like a calm and pleasant atmosphere in this hotel, after the weekend it became calm again! fruit can be bought near the hotel, conveniently, Alex's nightclub is certainly cool, but there is no Russian-speaking receptionist!!!! and I never managed to get there, with towels to the beach was normal, they were always available, the sunloungers on the beach were not very final! and the staff do not put them back in the evening, in the morning you start moving them around and they are heavy, the hotel staff do not elaborate the placement of sunloungers, after a day holiday! but
