Rooms basic, but clean enough. Needs updating as some paint coming off the walls. They only provide 1 x roll of toilet paper per day, so if you run out tonight luck. Breakfast is terrible, local food, cabbage and noodles for breakfast. Coffee has a greasy film on top. They don’t top up the breakfast dishes very often. Had to ask for the bread to be topped up. Only nice thing they provide is omelette and fried eggs They seem to heavily cater for Russian guests, as all the signs are in Russian. The reception staff look miserable and don’t seem to understand any English. The is a maids service phone outside our room that rings all the time, extremely annoying when your trying to sleep in the mornings. I would not stay here again.
stay 2 nights and really enjoy the facilities provided. i love the pool much. dont take the breakfast due no halal provided. 7 eleven is just near hotel. staff so friendly.i ask to refill my body soap, they came after less 10 minutes. wifi speeding was very good. i enjoyed my stay.
Location is good - literally over the road from the beach. Na Jomtien is much quieter than nearby Pattaya beach. Hotel rooms are getting rather shabby. Swimming pool is of a good size and kept clean. It was low season so fewer staff on duty making service slow at times. "Free wifi" was only in pool/restaurant area. The poor wifi in rooms was not free! Have Chinese tour groups so can be noisy and it's a fight to get the to the buffet breakfast as they all seem to be ravenous!
When we booked the Sarita,we already knew which hotel we were going to stay. That`s why we didn`t surprised. The location of the hotel is great, very pretty a small pool(which we didn`t need to use it). There are a lot`s of small family restaurants around, very testy,cheap..As everybody knows Pattaya`s beach is dirty and smelly, but if someone want to get sun-tan,location of the hotel is great,In the twinkling of the eye away from the sea.Breakfast poor, but if you decide to have dinner, not bad and you can enjoy with live dinner music by guitarist
My first ever really bad view for a hotel! ...I should have read the reviews on here before we booked via agoda, this hotel is terrible they dont have a clue. No wonder none of th guests i saw were smiling. I paid extra for a 'Deluxe SEA VIEW room'. After we were taken up to the room we quickly discovered that we were facing the rear of the hotel with no SEA VIEW at all! I spoke to the bell boy who didn't have a clue and was told to go back down to the lobby desk so we did. I kindly enquired why my sea view room does not have a sea view and they laughed at me. I requested a partial refund for the amount i paid extra for a seaview but they just said 'this room is a deluxe and we dont have a seaview' - so why do you advertise sea view rooms!?? They then told me to cancel via agoda, i think it would have been much easier to settle this there and then? When i asked for wifi password they wanted to charge me for it. So i called agoda customer service instead who then phoned the hotel and then everything was cancelled without charge. However, this is most inconvenient, not only did we arrive early in the morning and had to wake up the person on reception who then gave us a sleepy 'you must come back after noon or pay for an extra night' - we then negotiated to wait until 10am/ After we waited only to find out that they have no sea view room (i would have been okay without a seaview but not if I have paid for it) and then after cancelling we had to alk around for an hour to find a new hotel. All the receipts and booking confirmation emails including the ones they had printed in advance of out arrival had SEA VIEW written on them, why this could not have been spotted earlier and kindly let us, rather than leading us knowingly up to the wrong room.…
Well, as usual, Ill simplify it for you into pros and cons. I must add that i did not try the spa, although it didnt look too appealing considering there were a lot of (more enticing) options on walking street. Pros: - REALLY nice pool, probably the only selling point of this place - GREAT location, right next to the beach. Only a 20Baht tuktuk ride from Walking street (15 min ride) - Cheap - We managed to pay approximately 1800Baht for a night including breakfast via agoda.com Cons: - Caters towards Russian speakers mostly. I mean, EVERYTHING is written in Russian. Whilst this isnt bad, it is confusing for an English speaking tourist. - Staff service was poor. - 1000Baht deposit was required for holding the key. - Room was a total let down. It was dusty and had paint peeling on the balcony. It really looks like this place needs to be revamped. - Breakfast is very local - meaning noodles, rice, vegetables, etc. They do have a stand for "omlettes" and eggs sunnyside up, but dont expect too much - Staff were really friendly when we left expecting a tip, which i didn't give because i didnt think it was worth it. - Pool closes at 9pm...should have been open all night, but their staff were watching football in the lobby area so i just went into the pool and swam at around 11pm anyway! So i guess you can sorta bend the rules! Conclusion: The only selling point really is the pool and location to Jomtien beach. Other than that, the service is below par, and honestly i was a bit disappointed with the rooms. I would recommend another hotel for a few hundred baht more.…
We booked through agoda and really thought it was a good deal. Approx $50 sing dollars per night. All I can say is, I have been deceived by the website. The pictures and reality are really different. SERVICE: When we reached, we were asked to give a physical copy of the booking through agoda. We flashed the mail through our smart phones' mail. The receptionist's attitude (female) was horrible! She insisted on the physical copy and asked us at least 4 times for it. I think she did not understand NO or the action of shaking my head. She sighed in front of me (as if I want to cheat the hotel of 4 nights stay of S$200 even though I had proof of my booking). She also was very rude (tone of voice) as she spoke in thai to her colleagues (sort of complaining that we did not print the copy of the booking). In the end, she told her colleague to check from their computer. DUH right? Totally LAME. ****** Please note that this is the FIRST hotel I've stayed in that wants guests to sign an indemnity form that they will not be responsible for any of your belongings that is lost in the hotel. Which also means that any of the staff can steal your stuff and get away with it. They also will ask for 1,500B of deposit IN CASH ONLY. So prepare yourselves if you were to book this horrific place.************ ROOMS: My dad works in Thai so I had him to GO DOWN PHYSICALLY to Sarita to ask for a QUEEN size bed as my hubs and I just got married and damn weird if we were sleeping on 2 SINGLE BEDS.We booked SUPERIOR WITH BALCONY (I think we paid more for the balcony). She insisted that WE DID NOT INDICATE a king size bed.WTF seriously. I told her my dad physically came down (my dad was beside me). She SIGHED AGAIN. And in the end she gave us a king size room. When we went into the room, number 412, it was without the balcony. When I called reception, she asked me to go down to level 1. I went and she said "King no balcony". I'm like how can it be right???? In the end we settled for a double bed with balcony as the condition of the 2nd room number 321 was in a SLIGHT better condition that the first. CONDITION OF ROOMS: Horrible. OLD. Parquet floor was disgustingly dirty. Sheets had holes in them and stains. The wood was torn and tattered (refer to my picture). The toilet has bath tubs but holy cow (see my review on bathrooms later). TV reception was bad. Most of the channels are local thai channels. The balcony was pathetic, don't bother booking. Walls had drawings on it and black marks. Dust all over. WE WORE SLIPPERS IN THE ROOM BECAUSE IT WAS SO DIRTY. The parquet sort of "pops" due to water seepage. TOILETS: IT WAS HORRIBLE. It comes with a tub but my hub and I cant even stand up straight because the shower fixed and you can only sit down and bathe (or if u are a midget). GOSH. The water flow was hot and cold. Making it impossible to bathe because the "hot" is too extreme. You WILL get scalded. THE LAST STRAW: We got locked out of our own room TWICE. On the first and 2nd night. On the 2nd night, I was so pissed that I called the person to come up (they kept requesting us to go down to level 1 I do not know why). I asked the bellboy why we kept get locked out.He said the card "timed out". I asked "what do you mean by time out. It has happened twice!". He just shrugged his shoulders and walked away. Hubs and I told ourselves that WE HAD TO MOVE (even though we paid for 4 nights already). We booked JOMTHEIN TWELVE just next to it.Though not the best but everything was better. Cleaner rooms, better channels, we could stand while bathing, water flow was consistent. It was basic - that's all we were expecting. Gosh. My advice- DO NOT be deceived by the façade of this place. It is not worth it.There are much better places in Jomthein to stay in. Oh yes, I happened to see the room next to me, king with balcony. Even if it was fully booked, the least they could do is to switch when the next person checked out. HORRIBLE is indeed an understatement.…
Nice hotel right across the Jomtien beach. I like the cosy pool and the restaurant. Food is nice. Clean atmosphere. But almost no sea facing or pool facing room. Our room was on the left side of the hotel and that side has residential buildings beside, so bit noisy we felt. The right side was better I guess. The room and bathroom was good.
The hotel looks very nice from outside and in the lobby. However, the room was a bit worn out, some things was broken and stood out from the wall. There was dust everywhere and the rooms smelled from bad air. The view was non-existent as we stared at the next building 5 meters away. OK breakfast, nice pool area and kind and service minded staff. The location makes it all worth the stay, 20m from Jomtien Beach but we will probably stay at another hotel next time.
I have just returned from a week at the Sarita and it is that bad it was almost funny. On arrival they didn`t have the double room we requested so I had to wait 30 min. The hotel has 2 ends...the `SUNNY` front end and the`DARK`dismal rear end. We were lead to the latter by way of a lift which is housed next to the open smelly kitchen and is in near darkness. This hotel is dwarfed by the large grey wall of the building next door and we were given a room facing it. I could touch it from the balcony and you can see nothing else. I TOOK AN UPGRADE.....FROM SUPERIOR TO DELUXE for an extra £22. However the room was no different but it was in the`sunny end` and accessed by a lift where you COULD read the buttons. To summarize....it is overpriced, AT £60 A ROOM I DO EXPECT A FREE INTERNET SERVICE, the staff are unfriendly and speak very little english, the breakfast lacks choice, the swimming pool is not how it looks in the brochure and the spa is 2 beds thrown on a small decking level above it. BE CAREFUL as the decking surrounding the pool is BROKEN !!! Oh and the entertainment is awful !! This only thing going for this hotel is the location. The beach opposite is on a more quite part of this busy road.…
