Cimarron Lodge is wonderful. We had a condo overlooking the Coonskin lift (#7). We could also see 2 of the slopes coming down to the lodge. Telluride is beautiful. The slopes are fabulous. Thoroughly enjoyed skiing here. Everything was convenient. The restaurant--Allreds was

It's hard to complain much - this condo is DIRECTLY across from Coonskin lift and is incredibly convenient. The management company was also very attentive and responsive to our needs. However the condo was a bit disappointing. The condo sleeps 8, yet there are 4 coffee mugs

We visited in early August to do the Via Ferrata, most of the rentals in Telluride are in the $300-450 a night range, we got this two bedroom two bath condo on the western edge of town for $199 a night ( very reasonable ) the condo was very clean and comfortable (unit 40), a

In general, we really enjoyed our stay here. We had three condos and while they were all on the same floor, they were about 100 yards away from each other. The bathrooms were spacious, and the beds were comfortable. The kitchens were tiny but well equipped. The location was

Hello, I stayed at the Cimarron Lodge this past summer in Unit #51. The entire lodge is fairly small and the Unit numbers aren't exactly laid out in numerical order so the bad news is I can't really tell you which of those are closest to the ski lift. However, the good news is none of the Units are a far walk because the Coonskin Lift is literally right at the base of Cimarron so you are not going to have far to go regardless of which Unit you get. You could try calling the property management company (Alpine Lodging - 888.893.0158) but depending on who you get, they may not even know the layout of the unit numbers. I will tell you there is no office at the property itself and you have to check-in at the Alpine Lodging office in downtown, a few blocks away. I believe one of the reasons it's a more affordable stay is because there is little to no overhead to manage the property so you are pretty much on your own once you get there. If you aren't familiar with Telluride, the Cimarron really is a great location. You have a grocery store (Clark's Market) less than a five minute walk and the Galloping Goose picks up at Mahoney Drive at the West end of Cimmaron and takes you to the other lift stops and through downtown. Hope this helps and I'd be happy to answer any other questions you may have.

"You get what you pay for- the more expensive, the nicer. Most condos have rooms facing the river, so listening to it was great."
"Room is directly atop the lift ticket windows and in front of the base of the Coonskin chair. It was delightfully quiet in autumn, but beware for winter months."
"This condo faces the mountain. The ski lift is about 50 yards from the front door. There is a ski rental/repair shop on-site."
