This campground met all our needs... 2 miles to a fantastic and reasonably priced golf course, right on the river with terrific fishing, and plenty of good places to eat and explore. We visited Pagosa Springs, which was only 47 miles away, and did the Bachelor Loop above Creede, which we really enjoyed. The campground has great views, and a...

We take a lot of pride of the fishing here on our 1 mile of South Fork river. When the river subsides after the spring thaw; Riverbend stocks every two weeks during season with rainbow trout from a local supplier making for some of the best fishing in the area! I appreciate you bringing up what a good base camp...

We had Tent camping site #6, she told us it was the best and biggest and she wasn't kidding. A bit of a challenge riding my motorcycle with trailer down the hill with two tight switchbacks but once there it was an amazing spot.

Yes the road down there would be a challenge with a trailer of any sort. While most of our park is easy for access for RV's and big vehicles with an overlook of the river from cabins and RV's; the tent sites are secluded underneath tall trees right on the river. That's what makes them so great! Thanks for taking...

The staff at Riverbend Resort are very accommodating and very helpful! They are so friendly and made our stay more enjoyable! Beautiful views and river that runs through resort. Quaint, stocked cabins had everything we needed!! This was our first time in the cabins but we've stayed in our travel trailer too. Definitely would return!!

We usually try to spend a month each year at our favorite campground in Colorado, Riverbend Resort, in Southfork, Colorado. It is beautiful, on the Southfork of the Rio Grande, and in the best location to visit numerous wonderful sites in the area. It has a beautiful picnic area down by the river, the best swing on a deck looking...

WOW! What a review! I cannot deny that reading this review makes me choke and tear up! We try to look after our guests and especially our repeat customers as we feel that you are our seasonal family. I appreciate you talking about the things to do in the area and here at the resort. I would be remiss if...

The resort sits right along the river. We took our inner tubes and were able to fish and tube just a few feet from the cabin door. The cabin was a little rustic, but quaint, and had hot water for my shower, a flushing toilet, and a back porch swing! What else matters?! The beds were comfortable and my kids...

We parked out 19 foot Airstream Bambi at a beautiful site overlooking a meadow and the river below, mountains beyond. There was a wooden deck, a fire pit, fresh air, birds, bees, trees... it was a lovely spot. The amenities at the resort were all there. The owner even lent us a few fishing rods with bait, just asking us...

We sure do hope that your travels bring you back this way! We stock the river so that people can go out there and catch fish; and glad that we could help out! Thanks for the review and hope that you stay with us again.

Here we are for our second year visit. We can't say enough about this RV/Camping resort located right on the south fork of the Rio Grand River. We have met folks here last year that we have visited and some have visited us. If we haven't visited we have spoken to on the phone. These are people that have been...

The place was ok. The spots are close together with not a lot of room for gathering between RV's. The laundry only had two of the three washers working and then 4 dryers working. It's seemed that the camp ground could have some improvements. The one cabin that I was in, seemed to need upgrades! The staff was very friendly...

We appreciate your perspective. This park has been in existence since 1956 and there have been many improvements, maintenance and additions over the years. As new owners; we see some of the items that you have mentioned and with time of ownership; will be able to improve the campground to new levels.

We loved RiverBend. We stayed in Brookie, loved it so much, we added 2 nights in Big Red. Cabins are clean & have everything you need. The staff is friendly and welcoming, felt like talking to family. We will be going back to RiverBend next Summer!

We appreciate you taking the time to review us and are ecstatic about the family comparison! Thank you also for mentioning the cleanliness of our cabins as this is also very important to us. Our housekeeping staff works very diligently and we love that their labor is recognised! Welcome to the Riverbend Family and look forward to your next visit!...

Riverbend was the perfect place to try out our new RV. We are new to this lifestyle and people and accommodations were excellent. Can't wait to return. Nice quiet and peaceful surroundings. Not the hustle and bustle of some larger parks.
