Kent called before we arrived to check if it was ok if he just left our cabin open as other customers were taking him to dinner. We agreed and so walked directly into our cabin. It was Perfect! Extremely clean with comfortable beds and living room sofa, loveseat and recliner that were absolutely what these old bones needed. The kitchen... More

Kent and Tobie make your stay at Lazy Bear go smoothly. Kent shares what you need to know for the local area and his cabins are spotless and the bargain of the century. We've come back to Lazy Bear for years !

Lazy Bear Cabins are always clean and kept up. Have been staying there for 4 years now! Very reasonable for a 2bedroom cabin. Far beats a hotel stay any day! Owner & his best 4 legged friend Toby and always friendly, good with kids & other pets as well. Rating is for hotels, but being this a cabin, you get... More

These quaint cabins have all you need to have a great stay. The two bedroom cabins are spacious, clean, and well appointed. The premises are in town so you can easily pick up whatever supplies you desire. The kitchen have the basics. In short, our cabin was perfect!

What a wonderful and relaxing 4 days. Kent (and dog-Toby) were perfect hosts. The cabins are roomy with 2 double beds and a twin. Kent keeps the premises immaculate and in great repair. Side trips to see the sights were readily available. If we needed anything Kent was right there for us. We always travel with our basset hound and... More

What a special place in South Fork! Kent & Toby sure know what true, genuine hospitality is... how very delightful! Our dear friend Ernie (the barista in Wolf Creek's Continental Expresso Bar) shared with us his recommendation for this cozy place... and oh how thankful we have been that he did! We had always stayed in Pagosa Springs since 2005... More

Very clean, well equipped cabins for very reasonable prices. Dog friendly. Kitchen is simple and small but has everything you need. You can also borrow a slow cooker if you want one. We were there on some very cold days, the cabin stayed warm. However the floor can feel a bit cold so bring warm socks or slippers. The bedding... More
