This is a fascisnating old hotel that has been in the same family since the early 20th c. The owner and her parents were present when we arrived rather late at night and off season. They were most welcoming. Our room was clean and nice with warm bathrobes. It's true breakfast is at 8 am rather sharp, but it was...

We stayed at the Villa on an overnight hiking trip - Lisa and the staff were always there if we needed anything and elsewhere when we didn't! Our room was small but had everything we needed and for the price - outstanding! Breakfast was ready at 8:00 AM sharp and we were on our way. We can recommend the Villa...

First, we had a nice stay here and would stay again despite some of the downfalls of historic properties. First, the good -- the owners were absent but their "fill-in" host was very nice and extremely helpful. The property is charming and well-kept. The breakfast was nice but if you want seconds, get them quick as they may disappear. The...

We stayed at this B&B for 5 nights and still didn't want to leave. It's not a hotel but a home, opened-up to travellers who want to experience this beautiful area without the usual tourist traps and chain restaurants. Owner Gerald's stories of life in Silverton make its history come alive. It's family-run, each room unique, clean, cosy but with...

Ten years ago, my husband promised to take me to Silverton to expose me to small town charm mixed with the beauty of the mountains and the autumn changing season. Arriving on a cold damp September day, Gerald and Nancy greeted us with old fashioned hospitality, getting us into our room quickly and reminding us of wine and cheese around...

I stayed one night in room #6 (of 7 available), which has a king bed and where a dog is allowed. The room has a skylight—but no windows, contrary to the statement on this B&B's Web site that "All rooms include...magnificent views of the surrounding mountains." If you savor the experience of staying in a B&B, this one will probably...

The people are lovely, friendly, and hospitable. Was very clean. My mother has breathing problems and we were concerned with it being an older place it would be musty. Were we pleasantly surprised. No musty smell! This is a great place to stay for someone with breathing problems. Will stay again.

Built in an early 20th century building, the family owned Villa Dallavalle is a very comfortable place to stay. Rooms are small, but very clean and comfortable. The staff is helpful and very kind: just ask what you need and they will do everything to make your stay pleasnt. Breakfast included and the hot tub makes a relevant plus.

we stayed at the Villa on 9/1/13, our room was cosy and comfortable.. Hosts were very friendly and the breakfast was to die for! We will return to this lovely little historic hotel soon! While you are in Silverton check out the hillside cemetary it's a real testament to the hardy people who settled this area of Colorado.

My husband and I had a fabulous time staying at the Viila Dallavalle. The house is picture perfect for a mining town and the rooms are filled with antiques that add so much to the experience. Silverton is a charming town with awesome scenery. Lisa is a fabulous hostess and you can't help but have a great experience. Thank you...
