We stayed here for a week during the summer, it was our home base while we Jeeped around up in the mountains. The cabin was small but comfortable, there was a private bathroom in it with shower, fridge, microwave, sink and basic kitchen supplies. My husband, son and I had a blast! We grilled our breakfast in the morning on...

I didn't like the looks of the Red Mountain Cabins and motel but it had one of the last rooms available in Silverton for the night we stayed, but it was late so we took the room. The room was very small, a very old concrete block building with stucco. I immediately began noticing that the room was not very...

We had a cabin and an RV space. The RV space had a great view of the train arriving, along with the mountain views, so that was enjoyable. When we made the reservation for the RV, we were told we'd be taken care of with a good space. We were....the RV spot was perfect! Our cabin was tiny, but clean...

We were 4x4ing near Silverton when it got late on us and we decided to go ahead and find a place to stay. This was the first place we saw and we went ahead and purchased 1 night. For $120 I would have hoped for a little nicer accommodations. I don't mind staying in a deer camp style room but...

We called and booked a last minute cabin for 2 adults and 2 large dogs. Easy booking process, fair price and nice owner. We were shooting out for an early morning hike and we slept like a dream. Even though the property was packed, everyone was quiet and chill. Ideal location to everything and a couple block stroll to great...

This was our second visit to the property. A few years ago we stayed in the RV area in our trailer. This year we reserved a cabin for the week. What a great choice. Absolutely loved being in Silverton and having the comfort of the cabin enhanced our visit. Cabin had 2 rooms, each with a large bed, a fully...

Best place in town. They have cabins, little apartment-style hotels, and lots of camping spots with full hookups. Very laid back atmosphere. Everything is kept clean, the hosts are very polite and helpful, and there are lots of private bathrooms/showers. If you want to find a nice place to camp and relax, def give Red Mountain a try. Wifi is...

This motel also rents a number of cabins and it was perfect for my purposes. Very clean. Every type of service was available. Hot water, fully furnished kitchen with all appliances. A grocery store right across the street. Satellite TV. It was a great place to stay after 10 days of camping in the mountains.

Stayed at Red Mountain twice during the 2015 season, June and again in October, in our truck camper, pulling a UTV on a utility trailer. For easy access to Alpine Loop and Silverton's charm, this place is perfect. Owners are friendly, hardworking people who have been in the area for years. I seriously question the negatives that some have posted...

We contacted Red Mountain in September of last year and explained we were traveling on an ATV trip with a large group and would need 4 or 5 cabins. We were told they were not taking reservations until the 1st of the year. They assured us no problem with being able to reserve the cabins as they wouldn't even start...
