Very dog friendly, very gracious and accommodating. The hosts are wonderful and very helpful in our quest to bird in the surrounding area. Rooster wake up call got us out of bed for early birding. Residents were humming birds, blue birds and hawks.

Thank you for taking the time to to write such a nice review. It was truly wonderful having you both here and that you shared your birding expertise was just the icing on the cake! It seems that there is always interesting bird-watching all year around. I will take your advice about adding extra hummingbird feeders on each side of...

My husband and I and our 6 mo. old Golden-Doodle pup, Lucy found spur of the moment lodging when we were needed for a family emergency in nearby Nathrop. It was truly a godsend as we were not in a position to care for our own needs, and leaving Lucy at home was out of the question. The staff and...

We are glad we could make you feel at home in what was a very difficult and sad period. Thank you for going the extra mile and writing this review, so very kind of you both. We look forward to welcoming you as friends again to our home when you come back for the services.

Nice place to stay! On the downside, transparant curtains in the Oberhasli Suite, so absolutely no privacy and an early wake up call due to the morningsun. Despite advertisement on the website, NO daily maidservice. Not enough tables and chairs inside (though enough space to place some more), so we had breakfast outside, I was offered a blanket, but still,...

Thank you for taking the time to write a review. We are sorry if your expectations were not met. I would like to clarify a few items for you and anyone else reading this review. I apologize that you did not realize that we had blinds in addition to the drapes - sometimes it is hard to tell because they...

I took my 86-year-old mother and 1-year-old border collie to stay at Mountain Goat Lodge. Mom had her doubts about the cleanliness of such a dog-friendly place, but her fears were immediately eased. We stayed in the Oberhasli suite for easy dog-walking access and first-floor level comfort for Mom. Room was clean and lovely. Tons of room for Mom, the...

thank you for sharing your experience on trip advisor. We do make an effort to welcome everyone and their pets - even if we need to clean twice as hard to do so! We strive to make everyone comfortable in the beds, and realize the pull out sofa is not without its limitations. We are looking into upgrading that mattress...

I found the Mountain Goat Lodge on a pet-friendly website while planning a recent Colorado stay-cation. My husband and I were traveling with our dog looking for places to stay close to nice Colorado mountain towns with beautiful views and good access to hikes and outdoor activities. We stayed in the Oberhasli suite for two nights which was perfect as...

THANK YOU for such a splendid and thorough review. I think anyone reading your review will get a complete picture of the experience here. And one night truly is not enough - there is so much to do here, year around - that at least 2 nights are necessary to really see everything and to relax here and maybe just...

My wife and I had the privilege of spending a night at The Mountain Goat Lodge with our pup. The owner was welcoming and helpful on things to do in the area and gave us a great dinner recomendation. The breakfast was delicious and the owner (a past barista) made us excellent lattes. We were unfortunately just passing through so...

We spent one night in the Princeton room. Great room for two people, comfy bed, and spectacular view and balcony. The breakfast and coffee were great, and we were happy that we were able to meet the goats, and participate in the milking. If we had more time, we would have stayed longer!!

Wow~! Geez! You are so so kind and thank you for this review. The trailers, as you know, are brand new and guests like you all made the summer trailer "experience" a roaring success! They are closed now for the winter but we are looking forward to a full summer next year with many more happy campers. We will always...

This was my first stay at Mountain Goat Lodge and we had a stellar time. We opted to stay in the Retro Campers and brought our golden retriever along. We also had access to all the B&B amenities: the hot tub was relaxing, engaging with the goats, llama, and chickens was fun, breakfast with the other guests was pleasant, visiting...
