We chose this hotel for our last two nights of our holiday. We wanted something in a beautiful setting, some peace and quiet and down time before our flight. This we certainly got. The hotel is surrounded by gorgeous scenery and Redstone is a delightful village. The historic hotel is generally lovely with an old creaky charm about it. There...

The day I arrived three hours late from a huge snowstorm at Vail, I was greeted to a snowman at the front door holding a tray of champagne flutes and a sign that read " Welcome Vail Pass Survivors!". Holy Cow that was awesome! I love this hotel. It's seated on a river. You see wildlife. Cool things to do...

If you like quiet rustic lodges with tons of character and a friendly helpful staff this is the place. The Inn has a fantastic friendly feel to it. We only ate in the lounge but the food there was great. The bed was wonderful and the room squeaky clean. Redstone is such a beautiful place I hated to leave.

This mountain lodge has a fun Euro feel to it and is incredibly warm and comfortable. The main living areas of this fabulous Inn boast comfortable leather seating, lush dark wood and fixtures, and charming historical photos of years past in the river valley. Two streams run through the 20 private acres, so there is the constant peaceful hum of...

My husband and I were at the Redstone Inn Summer 2013 as part of a driving trip from Ohio. We flew into Denver, and continued a loop around Colorado, beginning in Estes Park, and ending up in Durango, and back to Denver. We knew The Redstone was off the beaten path, but we like digging up history, and exploring, and...

We had a basic room, which was fine. We did have a problem the second night with a whistling radiator. It took a long time to locate the source of the problem--at about 4 a.m.--but someone came when we did determine the source and offered us another room, which was a little newer and quite nice. This didn't make up...

So loud with no sound insulation whatsoever. Lock on the door to the room was exactly like the kind of lock one put's on a bathroom door. No security whatsoever. Carpet was dirty emerald green. Even for a historic property, this room was so outdated it was unreasonable. I have stayed (by preference) at historic hotels all over the county...

We are extremely sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your stay with us at The Historic Redstone Inn. Thank you for taking the time to give us your thoughts. It sounds like you stayed in one of the Terrace rooms. We appreciate that you noticed all of the issues in those rooms. The Terrace rooms are the next...

Redstone Inn is a wonderful getaway from the craziness of life. It's a place to unplug as there is no cell service. (There is wi-fi.) The staff is very friendly and the rooms are extremely clean. We took a sleigh ride and it was beautiful! If you like a unique and historical hotel, the Redstone Inn is for you.

My sweetheart and I stayed at Redstone Inn Dec 28 - 31. It is so cozy, quiet and comfortable. We had enjoyed an overnight visit nearly a year earlier, and decided to enjoy part of a long weekend there before heading to Taos. He and I had only booked one night, but after our first leisurely day strolling in the...
