This was our second two week holiday in West Hollowcombe and it was even better than last year. We felt at home straight away and got on with enjoying everything Exmoor had to offer - Scenery, Relaxing, Riding, Exploring, Walking, Beach days, Picnic days, Exmoor pony and deer spotting etc, etc... Search no more, you`ve found the ideal Exmoor holiday...

We really enjoyed our stay here. Peter & Irene were excellent hosts with a very warm welcome and a fabulous cream tea on arrival. The cottage (Norton) was very well equipped and maintained to a very high standard. Beautiful views and excellent walks from the cottage, especially enjoying the walk to Tarn Steps including a lunch stop at the pub....

We used this cottage for our rest day while walking the two moors way and it was perfect! Lovely cream tea on arrival, a laundry room (we were VERY muddy) and two bathtubs which was very good for achy muscles. Peter and Irene were very accommodating with everything from a lift to the pub (and back) to buying in our...

Have just come back from our first (but not our last - hopefully!) stay at West Hollowcombe and I cannot recommend it highly enough. The cottages are lovely - fabulously equipped and the setting is beautiful - in the middle of peaceful countryside with gorgeous views yet not too far from things to do. We have a young family and...

Our first visit to West Hollowcombe. A fantastic warm welcome from Peter and Irene. A lovely cream tea was waiting for us on arrival. Nothing was too much trouble for our hosts. Our grandson loved driving Peter's tractor,

We (Elliott family Andy, Alison and Rachel, 4) hadn't visited Exmoor before and really were lucky to come across West Hollowcombe as a place to stay. We can't fault this as a place to stay. Peter and Irene are extremely helpful, welcoming and friendly hosts and do all they can to ensure that your holiday works out well. They are...

After our October 2010 stay in "Kiri" we opted for a summer holiday of 2011 in "Jasper" at West Hollowcombe as Kiri was not available anymore. Once again we were welcomed in a great manner at this top location by Peter and Irene. In short, there was nothing to complain about and we even could have some time on the...
