Really nice place to stay in a village just off Jnc14 M1. Accommodation was set away from the main building - which made it even more interesting. The Hotel was really clean, tidy and well presented. The only thing I can think off to improve things would be to open / unlock the doors in the morning earlier as both...

Steak, cut to the size you want and cooked in view. With fantastic accompaniments like the traditional steak garnish or otherwise. I would recommend going blue here if you haven't done before (like myself at the time). A great selection of alternatives and deserts too.

Brilliant food, we were lucky to get a table on a Saturday night, as we did not book. Starters from the menu and the steak from the meat counter. Delicious, fresh. Great, friendly service. Portions are very big, we were too full to have pudding. Wine selection is reasonably good, loads of parking and even accommodate is available on site....

We were allocated a room in a block adjacent to the main building. The accommodation was quite large and beautifully presented. As well as tea and coffee making facilities there was also a small fridge. The bed was very comfortable and the shower excellent. The hair dryer was thoughtfully positioned next to a full length mirror. We were able to...

Was meant to be a romantic meal for two... However lesson learnt.. Friday nights are quite loud and rowdy lol!! We were sat in the closed off doorway with another couple ( who were loud unfortunately) We had the artisan bread which was nice. Breads were delicious but not huge amount given as not a proper starter. More of a...

Me and my daughter had a weekend here and the bungalow we had was spotless and well equipped. The food was top notch. The only place I've eaten that knows how to cook a steak. Totally recommend this place.

Perfect quiet location, nice rooms in a courtyard block set slightly away from main pub building. Feels like you're going to you're own little cottage, no long corridors. Big enough room with space to move around bed and space for bags etc Beautiful breakfast, local ingredients cooked to perfection and gluten free available. My only little complaint is there is...

Lovely room and bathroom. Newly and beautifully fitted out and decorated. We really enjoyed our stay there while visiting family nearby in Newport Pagnell. We also ate there together with our family and that was excellent too. Can't rate them highly enough - Friendly and helpful staff. What more can we say? Will definitely stay there next time we are...

I always try to stay here if working in Milton Keynes. I get bored of staying in the usual Premier Inn's and this place is a breath of fresh air. The accommodation available is better than you would get from a Premier Inn/Travel Lodge and the breakfast is to die for. Although the location is off the beaten track in...

Spent a very enjoyable Sunday evening at this place for a relatives birthday. Meal excellent, every member of staff friendly and attentive. Breakfast also good on the Monday morning Room was very clean, and comfy, and also very quiet. Very happy to recommend this to anybody and wouldn't look anywhere else if visiting the area again. Prices very competitive!

Thank Malcolm M
