low key/comfortable/clean rooms. great access to pagosa springs dining/shopping and the newer multi pool spa and the old time spa. stay 3+days (single or a couple) and buy a 7 day pass to the new spa for a price break.

Clean rooms, friendly staff. Loved the smell of CO's natural product in the halls -- but not overwhelming, not like cigarette smoke -- and rooms completely free of any such smell. Hot tub and sauna a delight after many cold miles on my motorcycle (they need 45 min to warm up both). Good local restaurant with many local craft beers...

This is a nice, old hotel with an incredibly friendly staff and great location. We were walk-ins and were able to book a room right away. Walking distance to a couple of good dispensaries, restaurants (Borde Rio and The Malt Shoppe come to mind), and the river. Close drive or bike ride to the Springs and other downtown activities. It's...

I thought the rooms were great, clean, and comfortable. The smell of burning cannabis filled the halls, even though there were no smoking signs up in building. The motel does provide a smoking area and even a gazebo with 420 friendly. I would recommend this to anyone that is not sensitve to the smell of burning Colorado's finest.

This hotel is far from modern, but it's plenty comfortable. The staff are incredibly laid-back, and can offer suggestions to the many amenities available in and around Pagosa Springs. First Inn is found in a nice location that is convenient to restaurants and a terrific dispensary, The Green House.

The young lady with long hair was very friendly. Great location. Hot tube was great. Awesome that the hotel is 420 friendly. We loved that aroma in the area. We will defiantly go back. Rooms are nice and cozy. They have a micro wave, Frig and coffee maker in the rooms which is a plus.

Our stay was very enjoyable and the hospitality was great. Our family had a great time and enjoy the play room. Our family will definitely stay again and will recommend the hotel to my relatives and friends.

I really like this place. It's clean, reasonably priced, and in the right location. It's not fancy. The breakfast does not appeal to me, but none of the hotel breakfasts do. It does have firm comfortable beds, a nice hot tub and a sauna that would be great 20 degrees hotter. My usual use is as a place to sleep...

Stayed here the other night. Horrible experience. The bed was fine, wifi was fine, continental breakfast was slim pickings and very unsubstantial, the TV was miniature, no towels in the bathroom, no toilet paper, fridge made a horrendous racket until I finally unplugged it, but the WORST part was the PAPER THIN walls. You could hear literally EVERYTHING in EVERY...

This hotel isn't advertised as a resort or makes false claims to cater towards children. I read the reviews before booking and was nervous just like you may be, but do not fear! The rooms are clean, the staff is friendly, and the hotel is not dingy looking on the inside or out. Could it use some modern updates? Sure,...
