Had an amazing time at this lovely resort. The springs are incredibly relaxing. We spent all day in perfect weather, chatting with other patrons. The staff, specifically Carlos, went above and beyond to ensure that we had a wonderful experience. Thank you so much and we can't wait to come back!

Not having been to a natural hot spring in several years, my friends and I decided to choose The Springs Resort and Spa, as our dedicated location to soak in the rich thermal hot spring pools for a much needed retreat. Although we did not stay overnight at the resort, we took a total of 5 day trips to the pools, which included 5 spa treatments (more on that later). We were not disappointed to have chosen this location in the slightest. The pools are rich and therapeutic. They offered immediate relief in many areas of pain for both myself and my friends. We often marveled at how we felt so good after soaking for several hours, and how we would naturally detoxify and feel the effects up to two days after a soaking session. We now feel our muscles more relaxed, our postures straighter, and our peak energy much higher. The three different spa treatments we chose were: Magnesium Muscle Melt, Head and Foot Massage and Deep Tissue Massage. “Amazing” would be the understatement for these treatments. Theresa was absolutely wonderful, and a consummate professional in her craft. Her easy going nature and experience made for a very relaxing treatment. I personally have received muscle treatments and therapies from very high end Spas in Las Vegas, New York and overseas, but I felt the most at ease with Theresa. I would highly recommend her and the Magnesium Muscle Melt for a very different spa experience that leaves your entire muscles feeling extremely relaxed for days on end. Rosie had the opportunity to work on one of my friends for the deep tissue massage, and to put it in my friends words “Rosie was able to find areas of deep tension and pain that no other massage therapist had even come close to finding. She even taught me how to breathe!” Just can’t say enough about Theresa and Rosie! Honestly, the pools and treatments were absolutely wonderful! The views were breathtaking and very relaxing! But what we didn’t expect was the level of service we received from the folks here at the resort. Often times we think of a resort as a place to unwind and relax, but service can often be hit or miss. Not so at the Springs Resort. The very first day we arrived, we were warmly greeted by Angelique at the front desk, who, upon hearing it was our first visit, made sure we knew all the ins and outs. I will never forget, how one soaker came up to her to try and gain admittance to the pools, even though she was still speaking with us. Angelique kindly informed the soaker she would have to wait until she was finished with us. She was extremely professional. We received great food service from the folks at the Grill restaurant and the canteen. Owen and Kiersh were kind, polite and prompt to get your orders in and back to you quickly. A special shoutout, however, would have to go to Matt and Kersten. Matt went above and beyond, hustling to get our drinks and food, making sure we were ok, and keeping the pools calm and in-check when some guests were too loud or obnoxious. It was only once and brief, but James and Matt both handled the situation admirably and professionally. Kersten was wonderful. We had the pleasure of having her serve or bring us beverages on several occasions. Her kind and friendly demeanor made her a pleasure to converse with, but what made us appreciate her the most was she never forgot our names the entire five days we were there. Kudos to Kersten! Yes, do go for the hot spring pools and the treatments; you won’t regret it! But the true gem of this place are the men and women who make you feel like this is your second home.

We have a wonderful time and the service was amazing. The hot tubs were plentiful and very clean. We are in a time that people don’t seem to work hard, our server(Matt Kessler) was so wonderful and always a smile with a positive attitude…man can that guy move to make his clientele happy. The front staff was so polite and informative. Great time and highly recommend.

Nikki and Shugeuy were very nice and helpful in the Cafe at the Springs Resort in Pagosa. The food was great, too! Nice variety of crepes with good view of the river and town from the large windows inside and from outside on deck. We will be back.
