We were on a week long camping trip and intially only planned to stay one night in Pagosa Springs here. However thunderstorms for the rest of the week had us change plans and the owners were great in making sure we could stay in the same rooms for two more nights. That helped alot as we were traveling with a...

Positives-The hotel rate is cheap. The owners were nice and polite. Negatives-The rug which is the same and in the hallway was dusty. The light in the hallway flickered on and off. The entire hotel looks very old and worn. One of the outside doors was missing part of the handle. The air conditioning unit smelled moldy. The bathroom shower...

It's an independently owned, older motel that is pretty well taken care of. The room was clean and quite comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful, even to the point of finishing up our room so we could check in 2 hours early! The breakfast is OK. I was surprised they used real plates, cups and silverware. There were foam...

We stayed three nights in peak season.and rented two rooms for a family outing. The rooms are a bit worn but the ownership is very friendly and responsive. The beds were comfortable and it was a good location for the money we spent. The owners even refunded us one night because our daughter had to leave a day sooner for...

Arrived on a busy 4th of July weekend for the wedding of dear friends. Bumper-to-bumper traffic in a town with one road in - one road out. Since this was my brother's and I first visit there, it was pretty stressful since cell phone coverage for GPS did not exist; hence calling the hotel for directions was not an option....

We only met one of the owners, she was the gal originally from Chicago, I think she was the owner. She recommended a great place for dinner, showed me how to work the ice machine! She was super friendly and the place was a great, inexpensive place to stay! Right near a Walmart, too, if you need anything. Also near...

We made last minute plans to head to Pagosa Springs and was so grateful to land at the Alpine Inn. We were warmly greeted and provided the room as reserved. It was very nice and clean, and the beds were excellent! There was a complimentary coffee/breakfast in the morning. I plan to return again when in Pagosa Springs.

Very nice family owned hotel. Room was clean and comfortable. Small town feel in a spectacular settiing. Perfect hotel for a good rest if you are travel or adventure weary. That is all you will want in this beautiful sliver of the Rockies--you won't be spending much time in doors!

We arrived late in the night and obviously had to wake the owners to get a room. With a sleepy smile she checked us in and without complaint helped us into our room when the scan card wouldn't work. The breakfast was perfect with oatmeal, coffee, fruit, yogurt and juice. The small building had squeaky stairs and floors with dated...
