Stayed in a luxury log cabin with everything included!! Had a lovely week off of life here. Most comfortable bed, beautiful furnishings, fluffy towels, and all the furnishings of home. the views were breathtaking. We did not want to leave! Planning to go back in a few months. Great place to reconnect with the family.

We were so looking forward to our stay in Pagosa Springs and after finding the cabin we felt the trip was all set. After having traveled 14 hrs to get there we were greeted by an attractive cabin that was in a word "FILTHY". I cannot begin to describe my disappointment and disgust as the sinks had toothpaste smeared in... More

Phenomenal trip! The cabins are tucked back in the woods and have all amenities you need for a week long trip. The kitchen is stocked pots/pans, glassware, cutlery, etc., it even had spices. Free firewood. Absolutely beautiful cabin and vistas. Mary was beyond accommodating and she even helped me out when my truck broke down. I would recommend this place... More

We stayed here for a ski weekend when we had family visiting from Singapore. There were 7 of us, and we needed the option of a late afternoon checkout so my mother-in-law could stay in the cabin while we skied. Mary, the owner, was happy to oblige us as they did not have another party coming in. The beds were... More

The cabins arr nice.. views and area is nice.. The cabins have to be cleaned. Cob webs and bugs everywhere in the rooms. There are no AC units just fans. Service was poor. We rented three cabins for 8 families. Couldn't even get extra towels when needed. For $300 a night I would have expected more attention to detail.

This place is beautiful and very peaceful. The Stargazer cabin is very nice and is stocked with everything my family and i needed for a relaxing week. The management here is very helpful and kind. Being this close to Pagosa Springs is great, but i could spend my whole day on the deck looking at the amazing mountain view and... More

We have stayed at Harts three different times and have no desire to even look for another place. We love the seclusion that is offered and the cabins are superior to anything else we have seen. They are stocked with everything you need for a very comfortable stay and we LOVE the free firewood. It is very close to town... More

My husband and our three grown children, along with their spouses and a girlfriend, recently enjoyed a short vacation at Hart's Rocky Mountain Retreat in Pagosa Springs, Colorado. We stayed in the largest cabin, the Comardo, which has a spacious family room with a fireplace and a large deck facing the east. The sunrise in the morning was spectacular as... More

Our stay at Hart's Rocky Mountain Retreat was great! We stayed in the Camardo cabin. It was very spacious and clean. The cabin was well supplied with everything you would need to cook and have a week's worth of fun. You are in the mountains and woods when you are here, but still close to town and fishing. Summary: For Pagosa Springs, this is one of the better places to stay - and the bakery and Allen House are excellent! However, the grocery store in downtown Pagosa Springs has just been closed and you will need to stock up in Alamosa on your way here (from the east) or drive west through Pagosa Springs a few miles up...
