I was mislead by this place being listed as a bnb. Not only do they not serve breakfast but there isn't even a coffeemaker in the room because "people keep stealing them"! The carpet is really stained and scary looking. The heater barely puts out any heat. I think the room is about 50 degrees F right now. The bed...

What a cool motel with bar, restaurant, and clean comfy rooms. Excellent service all the time and the big ribeye was perfect. Highly recommend and hope to pass through again some day on my motorcycle.

After camping and a lot of driving in northwestern Colorado....hubby was scouting for elk hunting... The Elk Mountain Inn was just the break we needed! Room was clean and comfortable. With our dog along, we were very happy dogs were welcomed! They have a front yard with grills, tables and chairs in the shade and a lovely enclosed gazebo with...

Don't let the outside fool you. Yes, it looks like an old motel, but they have really made an effort to remodel the small old rooms to provide a nice experience. Nice bathroom remodel, clean, and very friendly staff with suggestions for places to eat in this small town. A good place to stay one night while traveling, hunting, fishing...

Have stayed here twice now, the owners are friendly and the room was clean and well appointed. There is a laundry facility and barbecue for guest use and the whole atmosphere of the place was comfortable and homey. Highly recommended.

This little place was a stop on a hunting trip out west. They had clean rooms, nice beds and pillows, plenty of towels and quiet rooms. They also have on site laundry and showers for hunters that are in the mountains for a few days at a time. They make home made food and drinks in the lounge and the...

We stayed twice, like "bookends" of the sheepdog trials in September 2013. The new owners are truly delightful folks and are obviously intent on making the Elk Mtn Inn your choice of accommodations when you're in gorgeous Meeker country. The location is perfectly central. Even though on the main street through town, we weren't at all bothered by traffic noise....

Our room and bath was small, but clean and comfortable. The window a/c work very well. The check in was quick and easy. They had a nice washer/dryer facility. If we are back in this area I woulld stay with them again.

If you've ever watchced Hotel Impossible, this property would be his best "after" project. The room was beautifully appointed. New carpets, bedding, drapes, all coordinated and really tasteful. We had a great silver finish refrigerator and freezer, microwave and a 32 inch TV. WIFI is included and it's pet friendly. Above all, this room was spotless! I'm a retired hotel...

“I have no tip because this was the only time I stayed with them.”

“We did stay in the only smoking room, # 121 but it didn't smell at all like smoke when we arrived. It's on the end, next to Market St. which makes it very convenient. Traffic didn't bother us at all. Parking is right in front of your door. They have a beautiful landscaped lawn with a bronze elk statue, very great as this IS the elk capitol of the world. There's also a gazebo with laundry facilities. The staff alone makes this worth your while. It's the nicest property in town.”

“The White River Inn, just down the road doesn't allow pets and it has 2 very different types of rooms. We loved Elk Mtn Inn.”
