We've been wanting to stay at this historic hotel mostly because we heard that Teddy Roosevelt stayed here during his elk and mountain lion hunts. The old hotel didn't disappoint. Lots of history and beautiful mounts of elk, nuke deer and mountain lions. The bedrooms had private claw foot tubs in the rooms. The beds were kind of creaky but... More

I had a great stop at the Meeker Hotel on my trip from Denver to Salt Lake City. Quaint lobby, bar, and restaurant. Comfortable room with bath overlooking Main Street. Affordable. Open all year. Terrific staff. Cute town nestled up against the foothills. Hope I get to return.

What a great way to step back in time. Rooms were clean and comfortable. The history abounds and it was fun to walk around and look at the pictures and read about the old days. Smack in the middle of town you can walk to where ever you need to go. Reservations were simple and accurate.

Visited this hotel 3 times for breakfast whilst attending Meeker Sheepdog Trials, food and service was excellent . After the trials around 40 of us descended on the hotel to help Amanda, the winner celebrate. They did not bat an eyelid and were able to serve us all, steaks etc within a relatively short time, there were only 2 chefs... More

We took a road trip from Glenwood Springs to Meeker Colorado and stopped at the Meeker Hoteland café. The café is very quaint and has excellent food. We got the chicken fried steak dinner and it was excellent. Best ever. The servers were very accommodating and attentive. Will definitely visit again when we visit Glenwood. It is fun to walk... The food is great, and its just like you are in the old west. The service is friendly and fast. We usually eat lunch here when we go to Bufford to hunt. Home cooked meal, If you get a chance go inside the front of the hotel and look around. They have the most beautiful wood stove you will ever... More

We LOVED this hotel!! Two of us on a 10-day motorcycle trip, staying somewhere different every night, and this was our favorite place. Extremely friendly staff, history and character without end, GORGEOUS place. Make sure you stop into the drug store across the street for a malt at the soda fountain, too. If we ever get back out that way,... More

My sister and I travel to Colorado often. This was our first trip traveling this route and we are so glad we did. The Meeker Hotel is loaded with old western ambience. The room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. We stayed in the Roosevelt Room, which was 2 bedrooms and very spacious. The bathroom had a clawfoot... More

We stayed for three nights in early December for an elk hunting trip. There were not many people staying at that time, so we had the place almost to ourselves. We definitely had one on one service. The manager went out of her way to make us feel at home. I would stay again just to visit with her. It's... More
